Just want to say that surf shack is astonishingly perfect. The cost of the food is lower than the major hitters like BK/McD’s/Wendy’s etc and you get a much much better tasting and healthier product. The staff is amazing and the owner is always in there working his butt off. The environment and decorating is unique and relaxing while still being very professional. You don’t feel like cattle being run through a production line. Great for adults and kids and yes they have kids meals. Say yes to giving them a try!

I got the Hawaiian with pastrami added, highly recommend. The onion rings are fantabulous. Portions could be a little bit bigger but overall great food.
I asked for a water cup. I don't drink soda or beer. The nice girl hands me a small cup. There was no water option on the soda dispenser so yes, I took a little sprite. I had a couple sips when the cook or whoever the jerk was came up to me and said sodas are $2. I gave him $2. He says no, $2.12. I gave him $3, said keep then change, keep the food, keep the money I paid you and I walked out. If you're going to be that petty, you don't deserve my or any of my friends business. Now they know and they will not be patronizing your establishment either. Your food isn't anything special, your cook or whoever that was is a jerk. I'm local here 30 plus years and like to keep my money in this community. Trust me, you don't treat people like that and think it's all good. There's 20 other local burger joints that are better than you.

Lots of other local businesses to patronize. Killer Burger, Hudsons, Schmittys, Burger Dock, take your pick.
