This place is adorable and such perfect little spot if you’re coming through Donnelly. We went to the resort at Tamarack to check it out and they directed us to this gem for dinner on our way up to McCall. So glad we stopped, chef Kyle was so friendly and helpful! We ordered 5 dishes which were all tasty, their turkey panini was the best we’ve probably ever had. We also ordered their pasta dish with the cheese sauce, shrimp and mushrooms with gnocchi—amazing! Definitely make the stop in and check it out!

We went to Tamarack Resort for the day and got recommendations to come here for dinner. We were EXTREMELY surprised how good this food was. This is going to be a regular spot for us when coming to Tamarack / McCall. The chef Kyle was incredibly nice and went above and beyond for our 3 kids.
We can’t wait to come back and try the flatbread pizza. Looked phenomenal.
We got the wings, turkey pennini, Mac and cheese, garlic shrimp tacos. All GREAT!

My family and I have been regulars here since it opened, but you wouldn’t need to live in Donnelly to feel right at home at Casa Rossa. Not only is the food exquisite (I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu and everything is SO. GOOD.) but the people who work there (Eric, Kyle, shoutout) are the best. They’ll remember what you like, what you don’t, make EXCELLENT wine recommendations, and before long they’ll be greeting you by name as you bring family and friends to your favorite local spot in the mountains. If you’re going soon, here’s what I’d get: the goat cheese bacon wrapped dates, spinach artichoke dip with gf crackers (oh, did I forget to mention? Shoutout to my gf girlies you’ll love this place), the build your own pasta (gatekeeping my combo. sorry!), and whatever sauvi b the gentlemen behind the counter suggest!

Casa Rossa in Donnelly, Idaho is a hidden gem! We were pleasantly surprised by this charming spot. We shared a charcuterie board, enjoyed some wonderful wine, and tried the Reuben panini, club panini, and a flatbread that was absolutely out of this world. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, too—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re anywhere near Donnelly!

During a visit to Donnelly, my boyfriend and our friends from North Carolina had the pleasure of dining at Casa Rossa, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed, and chef/Renaissance man Kyle, provided top-notch service.
The food was unbelievably fresh, made with local ingredients, and you could truly taste the love in every bite. Every dish was crafted with care, making it one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The quality of the cuisine was so impressive that I would happily drive from Boise just for a special occasion to experience it again.
Five stars doesn’t do Casa Rossa justice—this place is beyond incredible! If you’re in the area, this is a must-visit for an unforgettable dining experience.
