Excellent food, service, and wine selections. We really appreciated the nice, appropriate dinner music in the background. Such a difference compared to most places that seem to think a restaurant should sound like a dance club. Bacquet's is pricey, but it's worth it.

I entertain customers several times a week with dinners (In eleven states throughout the West). This was a new restaurant to try, and was the first time in 10 years that a "Chef" would not cook a protein the way a customer requested. Embarrassing, and not how you want to start an evening. In addition, sometimes my guests are not able to make it to the dinner, I sometimes have less people than my reservation is for (sometimes a few more). I always have between 4 and 8 people for a dinner. Bacquet's charged me twenty five dollars for each person that was not accounted for in my reservation. Insignificant in my expense report, however, not a practice I have come across before (hundreds of reservations a year across the West). This was charged a day after the actual reservation/ dinner and not at time of service. For Treasure Valley business dinners, there are much better venues.

Wonderful evening.. food was delish and service was excellent. However.. when we arrived as the only 3rd guests the restaurant had many empty tables, we were sat RIGHT NEXT TO another table. When I asked for a different table I was denied. In the 2+ hrs I was there no more than 3 other reservations were seated. There were plenty of other tables to be seated at. I understand if the restaurant was packed, but I would have appreciated a bit more space between us and the next table.

Lately, Bacquet's has been a place of choice to celebrate special events. This is a quaint little restaurant that offers excellent and unique food and beverage choices. Because it's smaller and the acoustics are great have a much greater sense of privacy when you're holding a special occasion. The owner, Chef Franck Bacquet, who brings international experience, often stops by your table with some interesting comments.

Compared to my experience 4 years ago (10 stars!!) it seems like the quality and quantity are (while not completely unreasonable) significantly lower while prices are higher. Highly recommend adding back a wine choice under $100 for those of us that enjoy wine but are not connoisseurs The staff is very attentive and the ambiance is great.

Mediocre service. Absurd order rule: you must order everything same-time/together ... (we wanted to start with selection of appetizers THEN gauge our Entree choices. It took 90 minutes for our entrees to arrive... WITH NO explanation offered. NO wine list... you're required to get up and go to the bar to sample the few house choices where the "over-drinking" Chef is consuming champagne DO NOT waste your time on their acclaimed onion soup.... It had NO MELTED CHEESE blanketing the top. (I clearly question the Chef's bragging french training.) I was too hungry (waiting) to send soup back.

I've had both dinner and lunch there in the last month. Casey took great care of all of my group and Franc created marvelous and tasty foods.

Bacquet's is a hidden gem among many restaurants on Eagle. The pleasant ambience is unexpectedly warm and quaint. The staff are exceptional in their service, attention to detail and friendliness. The breads, appetizers, entrees and desserts are delicious and plentiful. The delightful experience offered by Bacquet's should be shared with friends, business associates and that special someone in your life. Having travelled to France several times, Bacquet's is an opportunity to step into a truly European style Bistro.

This was our first visit here. We usually pick someplace special to us or a new restaurant for our anniversary dinner. This was perfect! Beautiful, quiet, and intimate setting. The service was wonderful and very attentive. And the food was superb. My husband loves any kind of duck dish, and he loved it. I adore seafood and the seafood pasta was awesome. Thank you Bacquet's for making a special night even more special!

I went to the restaurant with my mom on Friday and loved it so much I brought my family of 6 back on Sunday. Food, staff, wine, all excellence. The chef talked to every table but ours, which was odd because I specifically asked if he would come over and say hi to my boys who love everything France, but he did not. I was disappointed in that but all in all it was great.

This is an experience and not a quick meal. This will take time. Food quantity and quality was above expectations. portions were massive and the flavor was incredible!

Wonderful place for a special occasion or casual evening. Food is fabulous and staff makes you feel like you're the most important person in the restaurant. I highly recommend Bacquet's.

We had wonderful food. Sat on the patio on a very pleasant fall evening. You have to try the escargot, delicious. Both our meals were excellent and chef came and made suggestions for the optional chanterelles that were in season (and tasted great). What a great birthday celebration. cant wait to go again.

The porcini pocket with mushroom sauce appetizer was wonderful and delicious. I was a bit surprised that the ratatouille has so much pasta in it. The stew was amazing, so I tried to get every morsel of it, while leaving half of the pasta on the plate. I think we can use a bit less pasta. I'll order it with pasta on the side next time. Michelle was kind, service was great, didn't get to talk with chef Frank. Overall, wonderful experience.
