“Navigating the Construction for a Bodacious Reward 🐷🐷🐷 Today, I had a lunch meeting at Bodacious Pig Barbecue, and we were determined to get there despite the construction on Old State Street. The road work is a bit of a mess, but it’s a small price to pay to support a local business that has been an Eagle staple since 2013. The restaurant, located directly in the heart of the construction zone in front of the Old State Saloon, is a prime example of a business persevering through difficult times. Stepping inside, the aroma of slow-smoked barbecue instantly makes you forget the detours and road closures outside. We wanted to show our support and encourage others to do the same. If you're deciding where to eat this week or weekend, please make the effort to visit them. A little bit of effort on our part goes a long way in supporting the local businesses that make Eagle great.“

“Eat here all the time. The food never gets old. It is so good from the ribs to the Brisket and the Tri tip. Love there sides. Mac and Cheese my favorite but the Baked beans and smashed potatoes are incredible as well. Love how you don’t have to sit for hours to get my food. I never have to wait. It’s prompt service. Price is reasonable considering the cost of meat and everything being made homemade. The tastes are signature. I used to live in Missouri and thought I had tasted some of the best barbecue but not until now. So good you will not regret it. The deserts are incredible as well. The Bread pudding sundae or a mixed berry cobbler. Yum They also added new stuff to the menu. The brisket tacos and their new hamburgers. Then to top it off they added Breakfast the Brisket Benedict my favorite but their waffles are light and fluffy. Definitely a five star all around. Can’t wait to go back.“

“My son brought me in. He had to deliver stuff to their kitchen when they opened and was so impressed by the cleanliness that he remarked about it to me. He had eaten there and was also amazed by the food and service. I've had a few things to eat there. Burnt ends are my favorite...Melt in your mouth tender and perfect flavor. And the staff, even the folks who work in back will come out to get you what you need if the cashier has stepped away. It's a cheerful place, I'd just spend time in if I could for absolutlely no reason, but the food!!!!!“

“It was my turn to supply dinner for movie night with some friends. I decided to get BBQ from Goodwood. It was delicious and everyone commented how good it was! We got brisket, smoked turkey breast, salad, cole slaw and potato salad. Everything was really yummy and plenty for the 4 of us. I called ahead and everything was ready for pickup when I arrived.“

“Had the pleasure of enjoying the food from Big K BBQ when they catered breakfasts and dinners at a 4 day event I was at with 150 campers on a the Lazy R Ranch - an amazing remote ranch near Sweet Idaho. The variety was incredible, every meal was on time, there was alway plenty of food, they had options for everyone, and above all it was absolutely delicious. It was not an easy spot to get to - no running to the store for something you forgot or ran out of - and planning it must have taken was admirable. Thanks Big K people for all the fabulous meals! Highly recommend.“

For YEARS we keep going here and are never disappointed. We moved away for 5 years and the biggest thing we missed was this restaurant. When we moved back it was the first place we went for dinner. The employees are so sweet and friendly. 100% recommend.“

“i don’t really leave reviews like ever but i wanted to appreciate the service i was given today by a kind and patient young lady named Aaliyah tonight, she was alone when i came in for my order but handled everything so well and really did her thing (: (by the way i ordered an all cheese k-dog & a veggie bop bowl thing) the lobby was very clean, i didn’t wait too long for my order and she was super chill and does well under stress. food 10/10 costumer service 10/10 this was actually my only good experience out of the few times i have come here this year. “My “ranch boss” sandwich came served with just brisket, no chicken, no ranch. I took it back and they put chicken on it, still no ranch. The brisket was shredded into tiny pieces, making it hard to eat. Flavor was good but lacked ranch.“

“My family has been going here since I was a kid and it’s always delicious! We love how everyone can tailor their dish to their own taste and we do have some gluten free members of our family that are able to make a great meal by just leaving out the noodles. We love eating here! The family that owns it is very nice and we always have an enjoyable experience!“

“Place could be cleaner, but when you have a couple workers working it is understandable. My family of 6 came in and my grandmother and I were helped by this guy with longer hair. He did a good job and was decent on speed. Actually gave me a discount on Mando which was super nice of him. My mother, stepfather, and kids were helped by Curtis. And that guy was on top of it. Super friendly, I even went to go interrupt my mom’s order so I can get more sauce for my Mando. Without a hesitation or sigh he got it right for me SUPER fast. Then I did a Togo order as I was about to go for my pregnant girlfriend, it took Curtis no longer than maybe a minute from the time I ordered to check out. He was phenomenal and super nice. This is maybe my 3rd time ever eating Cupbop and he did amazing. Keep going with the hard work Curtis, your hard work is not taken for granted!“
