We used Cafe Rio in Eagle for our Christmas teacher lunch at Eagle high. We have 144 staff and cafe rio accommodated our very early pick up time! The employees were so kind, helpful and we have a TON of food! We ordered the taco bar, which came with 2 proteins, rice, beans, chips, salsa, salad, salad dressing, all serving utensils, plates, utensils, mints! also, everything to keep your food warm. Everything you need! We will use them every year for our catering needs. more than 5 starts!

Someone please save this place. I’ve given it so many tries. The staff is soooo disorganized that even a simple order takes forever. It’s a management problem…there is plenty of staff.
Every time I come the meat is soaking my food. I saw them adding more juice to the meat while there. Which would be fine - if they would be careful to let the juices drain.
Trashes a foot overfull. And all of the staff is just standing around chatting.
I really like cafe rio, but I will be driving to star and Linder next time.

Used the app thinking it would be quicker. Put my order in at 12:18 & finally got it at 12:41. Meanwhile, I watched people come in , order & get their food right away. Don’t use the app unless it’s going to take you 23min to get there. Also, I got all the way home & discovered they hadn’t put the kid’s meal in the bag : (

My first time here tonight & will absolutely be coming back .. I had their nachos with shredded chicken & hands down the best nachos I've had in YEARS !! If you've never been here , your missing out ! Definitely worth it !

the blonde young worker was so rude. she rolled her eyes at my mother and gave such dirty looks for no reason. also forgot almost everything we ordered. all we got was two burritos with meat and rice and nothing else. we asked for sour cream and guacamole and pico and lettuce and fajita veggies and nothing. when we called and complained they said they weren’t going to do anything about it. they said because we paid with cash they can’t refund. they said we’d have to drive all the way back before they close or they won’t do anything about it. we were already 20 minutes away on the way home for dinner. ridiculous they expect us to waste our gas and spend an extra hour to get home when they just saw us. they weren’t helpful at all. never apologized for the inconvenience or anything. just refused to give us any options.

Went to this location recently and was once again reminded and disappointed in cafe rios food and prices. Take some lessons from costa vida because in more ways than one they are just better.
This Cafe Rio is a complete failure! Flies, filth, incompetence and laziness is the best thing I can say publicly.

Avoid this Cafe Rio at all costs. Drive the 20 minutes to another location. This location is always out of most ingredients and the workers have 0 service skills or care for their job. We have tried this location over and over again over the last year and it always disappoints. Truly sad to see this bw a representation of Cafe Rio. We adore the chain but this location is awful.

Elotes is corn - the was zero corn in my bowl. I ordered guacamole and chips. I watched the kid put the chips in the bag and specifically asked if the guac and pico were already in it and he stated yes. They were not in the bag. I got chips. I ordered mint limeade, it was also not available. Basically I paid $40 for missing food.

Arrived at 8 p.m. mind you closing is at 9 p.m. I ordered a salad in which I wanted steak. Too my surprise they only had 3 of 8 meats available and made it clear that they wouldn't be making any more as they had shut the grill down to cook the meat. Now I'm stuck with three choices in which I didn't favor any of them. I understand pre closing and not being wasteful but an hour before close and the choices of meat were limited to sweet pork, grilled chicken, and braised beef. The gentlemen directly after me wanted carne asada as well but had to make a different choice. Either the shift lead made the decision to stop cooking once a meat got low or complete laziness in not wanting to clean the grill was if more importance. I think it is important to give your customers what they want for menu items when you offer them. Not impressed in the least. Do better, especially when I am paying $14 for a salad!!!
