Great food. I don’t think I have been here and not liked what I have ordered at any time. Their service has always been great and atmosphere is above anything else. Definitely great place just on the pricier side.

Amazing service, the food and drinks were great! My only gripe would be that I was told the king crab was a pound of meat but it was certainly not. I'm not even sure it was a half pound. I'd gladly pay over 200 if it were actually a pound. We will certainly be back tho.

Everything I had was excellent: Escargot appetizer with focaccia bread, king crab legs paired with a Spanish red (Rioja), and a ruby port for dessert. The service was excellent.

My husband and I celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary at Coa Del Mar, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The space itself is breathtaking — the art is absolutely stunning, and the ambience gives a subtle nod to its sister restaurant, Barbacoa, while maintaining its own distinctive and elevated character.

The food was, as expected, exceptional. My husband ordered the Mahi Mahi and Lobster, while I went with the 10oz Coulotte Steak & Lobster, and we shared a ceviche to start. Every bite was beautifully balanced and bursting with flavor.

But what truly set the evening apart — and what will keep us coming back year after year — were the people. Despite how busy the restaurant was, our server Nicholas delivered an experience that felt both personal and effortless. He was charming, attentive, and incredibly intuitive — reading the room instantly and making us feel like his only table. His humor, care, and professionalism rival what you’d expect at a Michelin-star establishment. His dessert and nightcap recommendations were perfect, and when he wished us goodnight at the door, holding it open with a warm smile, I couldn’t help but give him a hug — that’s how connected we felt.

A special mention to Jaaron (I hope I’m spelling that correctly) — quiet, kind, and efficient, with a natural gift for hospitality. He and Nicholas made an excellent team, seamlessly ensuring everything flowed perfectly throughout the night.

While great food and atmosphere can make for a lovely evening, it’s the people who transform it into something unforgettable. The team at Coa Del Mar did exactly that — they created a memory we’ll cherish for years to come.

“Thank you” doesn’t feel like enough to express our gratitude for such an extraordinary experience. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and a new anniversary tradition.

Hand's down one of our favorite restaurants in the Treasure Valley.

The entire experience was top tier. From service to food and everything in between. My husband and I dined at Coa Del Mar for our anniversary and we're already looking for a reason to come back.

Here's a quick breakdown of our experience:

• The ocean vibes are so fun. The detail they put into the designs are so cool from the octopus door handles to the jellyfish lights.

• Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly. Best service we've had in a while.

• The food was top notch. My husband couldn't stop raving about the prime rib. He pretty much ate the entire thing and that's saying a lot. My macadamia halibut was delicious, I'm not usually a fan of coconut but the coconut rice helped elevate the dish. We probably could've gone without the tableside guac but that's okay.

• The desserts were both pretty and delicious. We had the coconut creme brûlée (you can barely taste the coconut) and mud pie. With a side of my Portugal port wine, it doesn't get much better.

We'll be back soon.

We went here last month for a birthday dinner only to leave disappointed. Every single seafood dish left me underwhelmed. They lacked seasoning or were overcooked. My mothers salmon was dry and bland. When she sent it back it came out again in the same state. For being a seafood restaurant I expected so much more especially for the price point. The steaks were all done well so I would recommend avoiding the seafood and eating a steak.
My toddler dropped a toy down the crack in the booth and when I looked down to try and get it I saw a bunch of other items, leading me to believe they desperately needed to deep clean the restaurant. I would avoid this location and go to Barbacoa instead they are always on top of it there.
