The selection is unparalleled, with each variety offering a perfectly balanced medley of fresh flavors that transport your taste buds straight to the coast. (My favorite being the Sammy) But it doesn’t stop there. The menu is impressively large, catering to every palate, with dishes so thoughtfully crafted that it’s impossible to pick a favorite.
The service? Exceptional. The team at COA Del Mar goes above and beyond to make every visit special. It’s evident that they love what they do, and their energy is infectious. I’ve been a loyal COA customer since the day they opened their first restaurant, and it’s a joy to see some of their original employees still thriving here—a testament to the fantastic work environment created by the Castoros/Nikolai.
The drinks are another highlight—delicious, creative, and perfectly paired with the vibrant flavors of the menu. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick happy hour or settling in for a full dinner, the cocktails and mocktails are not to be missed.

Waiter was great. The atmosphere very nice. For food: not great but a 5 or 6 out of 10; portions too large; "too pricey" for what you get (6 people and bill before tip was about $441). We think pricing needs some attention if you want to come back often. One day the newness will soften. Then your current pricing may need some adjustment down to remain a place of choice. Fantastic ! We have been to Barbacoa's in Boise several times and were really looking forward to having dinner here at Coa Del Mar. We were not disappointed. This place is incredible. Food was exceptional, staff and service, off the charts. Will certainly return and highly recommend. Reservations most likely will be required as the place was jammed packed.
Went for dinner with some friends, there was a strong fish odor. Nice looking interior not too noisy. The tables are a little crowded though. Food was not that great steak came out drastically undercooked. The Coulotte steak sauce was not very good. Service was pretty good.

Alli and Javier were fantastic. Best service I’ve had for a decade. Even better than Hell’s Kitchen in Vegas. Only thing negative is that they seated us 15 minutes later than our reservation. Food was fantastic. We were seated in the center under the glass sculpture.
