This was my very first time eating at this restaurant. I do not plan to return ever. The waitress never did mention to us that a food item was no longer available because they were out, therefore making us try to figure out what else to order, this made us waste more time. Then we order and she never mentioned anything about the extra charge sides that we did not order! We actually thought we could have one of each on our order as other restaurants allow. I ended up paying over $63.00 for only two of us and nothing was worth it. I was so disappointed. Never again will I go there to eat!

Tucked in a corner of Eagle, ID is a quaint restaurant that shines. The food selection is wide but concise. Theee is something for everyone and we tried the ribeye steak, short rib pasta, parpadelle shrimp, grilled salmon, french onion burger, scallops and had the buttered noodles with chicken for kids.
The food is so good, I was only able to take one picture - the Burger. So juicy topped with melted cheese and fried onions. The scallops were large and tender, on top of polenta flat cakes with a zesty avocado dressing. The best scallop dish I have had in my life!
If you want non pretentious top class dishes, come to Coyne’s!

I’d like to apologize to your staff on behalf of @taylor.thrasher.fit . He’s an Internet life coach on Instagram also known as Crapper Fit. He rudely and extremely inconsiderately called ahead on Christmas Eve 10 minutes before you were closing and demanded you seat him and his family. He was wearing a white tshirt with his hair slicked back. His wife is blonde and wearing white as well, towing their 3 rug rat kids along too. I’m so sorry to all the families who had to miss Christmas Eve with their own families due to the unbelievable inconsiderate Thrasher Family. They only care about themselves. Please go see his Instagram page and let him know how you feel. Really one of the worst things you can do to someone one Christmas Eve. You guys are jerks.

Our entire party loved their food, and the service was great. My only negative is the lack of privacy. There tends to be too many tables in one small area. This also causes excessive noise when they are busy. We would still return for the great food and service, though.
We made a reservation two months ago and still ended up waiting 40 minutes past our reservation time. If you are going to take bookings that far in advance, the bare minimum is honoring the time or communicating honestly before people show up and waste their night.
What makes it worse is there is clearly no table management. If parties can just sit forever with no structure, reservations stop meaning anything. Take notes from Coynes nextdoor they do a 2 hour table policy for busy nights and would fix a lot of this, because letting tables camp indefinitely just punishes everyone who actually planned ahead.

I’m pretty sure I just had the best food I’ve ever had. I had sea bass topped with pistachio pesto in a chili cream sauce with gnocchi and Sun dried tomatoes. Amazing sincerity amazing and their drinks, yummm. We went for happy hour and the drinks were half price. This restaurant has wonderful unique recipes. Not only was my food crazy good but so were everyone else’s. This restaurant is a must. Go soon!!! Brenda Eschbacher

Had dinner here with the family. The service was a little slow but it was a Friday night and it was packed so slow was to be expected.
We had steak and salads and they were ok. We also had the churro and espresso torte for dessert which were delicious.
Interesting place. Good atmosphere but could be tough to chat when it’s so busy. Overall good place for family.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGIES. They used to be amazing about allergies when they first opened but we had to take them off our list of safe places for a while. We decided to give them another shot last weekend since it’s been over a year from our last visit. We went around 2pm so it was slower and less likely to have cross contamination. Myself, my husband and my son are all celiac and we had told the server multiple times we have severe gluten allergies. We have all been sick for an entire week (ifykyk), including my 2 year old son. We know we take a risk when we go out to eat, but a reaction this bad means we had straight up wheat or gluten in our food. Just be very cautious and avoid if you have a severe allergy, this place has proven time and time again to not be safe and this was the final straw for us.

Yummy food and great atmosphere on the patio. We were there in a group of six. Our server was very sweet. Not sure what happened but our food took quite a while to arrive. (Just salads and sandwiches at an early lunch and about a 35 minute wait) I hope that's not their norm.
