New to the area and we stumbled upon this place today. We enjoyed great wine, views and live music. We will definitely return with friends and family to enjoy!

Absolutely delicious wines! We ordered a variety case to our home here in North Texas & couldn’t be happier. We tried the Prohibition blend (my personal favorite), Malbec, Syrah, and Petite Verdot. All were fantastic! Highly recommend.

We've been to this winery a few times over the last few years and enjoyed the wine and ambiance. While we never brought our dogs, every time we were there at least 1 table of people had a dog and there was a winery dog wandering around as well. Today, we brought a family member visiting from out of state excited to show her the wine and were met by an employee would told us "Unfortunately we don't allow dogs" We said "But last time we were here, there were dogs....?" No response. As our party of 4 was discussing and trying to adjust our plans (nevermind we drove 45 mins to get there) we were then told "So unfortunately you won't be able to stay here today" (this wasn't said sympathetically, it was said in a get the hell out of here manner) Ok so we will just leave then and not be back. Note: I looked on the website to see if I could find a no dogs policy and finally found it on their FAQ page. I didn't think to look bc we saw people bring their dogs before and they were not asked to leave. We are not people who feel we need to bring our pets everywhere, we would have left them at home if we hadn't seen others bring theirs.

We have been members of this winery for about a year, and enjoy visiting whenever we can. The wines are well-made and delicious, with most of the grapes sourced in the Pacific Northwest. The facility is beautiful, perched on a hill overlooking the Boise foothills and with a good view of Bogus Basin. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, though outdoor is the most popular. The facility offers small appetizers to pair with wine and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The only drawback to the winery is that it is a sharp turn off of an extremely busy highway, then a narrow gravel road up a hill with blind turns.

My pretty gal and I ha a great time at the winery. The young yet knowledgeable gal bartender knows the wines and was helpful during our first visit. We will definitely be back again sometime in the fall.

Dude Dewalt Winery is a true hidden gem. Just off HWY 16, it is totally unassuming and very easy to miss. After a short steep drive up the private access road, you come upon a surprisingly beautiful winery perched on top of the hill. The views are fantastic with views of Boise, Bogus Basin, the Owyhees, and the entire Treasure Valley. The tasting room offers indoor and outdoor seating with great atmosphere. Friendly staff and deliscous wine are definitely the stars of the show. With live music and lively events this has quickly become my favorite winery in the state. They offer wine club memberships, which I recommend, that provide discounted prices and quarterly wine packages to take advantage of.
