Absolutely love Janet’s Cafe.. I use to always go to the ones in San Diego. I’m so thankful they are up here in Idaho now !! The cafe is decorated so adorable and the staff is friendly. Food is muah chefs kiss kinda good ! I love their granola, French toast, and they’re gluten-free muffins. Highly recommend

This place has gone down hill as of late. When it first opened, it was so good! Food was great, staff were friendly, portion sizes were huge… both times I’ve been recently I’ve left super disappointed. Food tasted mediocre. The waitress was rude. We even sat for almost 45 minutes after ordering before we were told she never put in our order (or the order was never made? There was conflicting info). Waitress was slamming plates down in frustration. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap that was all lettuce. There were 3 small popcorn chicken sized pieces in it with new buffalo sauce. Breakfast order was cold. Very disappointed because this was a great new spot for Eagle & Star.

The hostesses were adorable and very capable for their age! It was a longer wait than they said, but that's ok. My only issue was with my meal. I ordered the corned beef hash with house potatoes, extra crispy. The photo is the leftovers before and after I recooked it. It's basically a warmed up slice of canned Hormel. If you like that, and soft potatoes, the food is tasty, just super basic. The biscuit was big but pretty dry. Get lots of gravy.
