I love German food and this place was great! We did have to wait a bit for the food to arrive, but it was worth it! So delicious... everyone loved what they ordered. We will be going back!

Very knowledgeable staff, the food was authentic and beyond delicious! And their beers are imported from Germany and taste divine.

Richard was our fun waiter….so nice! The chef, Zion, came to our table & ask if we were satisfied with everything. Very nice. The Schnitzel was so delicious especially with the purple cabbage! We had a delightful time & will certainly be back.

We started going to Schnitzel Garten in early 2021 amazing food and always great service. In the last year in my opinion things food wise have gone downhill. As I said it used to be amazing first they switched their Spatzle, the old style was so good the new style is OK. About 2 1/2 - 3 months ago we noticed the Apple Strudel was different, another disappointment. Tonight we went and decided to get a pretzel and a Jaeger Schnitzel with mashed potatoes instead of having the Spatzle and desert since the last one was a disappointment, the pretzel was very good the Schnitzel was amazing the gravy was very thin almost watery and very lacking in taste. This was my favorite restaurant now I won't go back 3 strikes I'm done. My wife and I did notice the changes came along with a change in employees. We have always received great service every time but the food has definitely gone downhill. I hope something changes back to how it was but I'll have to read about it as I won't be back as it is.Steven

We waited over an hour for our dinner. The sauce was good but we each found the meat very bland. We each ordered something different. We will not be returning.

Very good schnitzel with huge portions. Service is okay. European style seating and a Biergarten outside that should be fun in the spring and summer.

First time visit for a late lunch.Food- Jager schnitzel was off. It's best with a heavy hearty mushroom gravy but this was way more subdued. The frankfurter was ok and the accompanying mustards were good. Cucumber salad needed to be seasoned. Sauerkraut was bland. Spaetzle was good.Atmosphere- Quiet not many patrons were there.Beer- Good and coldPrice- Off the chart expensive. German food never has been and never should be that expensive. This place has the most expensive menu I've seen in three states (including Leavenworth, WA). I mean $30 for Jager schnitzel and $27 for two frankfurters? Not worth the price and I eat a LOT of German food.Service- Best thing about this place, Very good!

Unfortunately, they have compromised the kitchen end a little too much to appeas some of the tastebudless patrons, which significantly detracts from the quality of good German food. When the sourkraut taste like watered down shredded newspaper it is too bland. It's not that hard to at least have two buckets of kraut in the back and offer a traditional option and an Americanized option. The main dishes were ok... but please don't compromise the sides as much as you have! Hot German potato salad doesn't need to be drowned in gravey. All that being said.... the service was great ? and the beer was good and cold!

Been here 3 times now. Hidden gem in Eagle, Idaho. The schnitzel is wonderful. If you need a change of pace from the same old thing this is the place to visit. You will not be disappointed.

There were 6 of us that tried it tonight. Not one of us were disappointed! The food was amazing, staff were great and very friendly! Can't wait to come here in the summer for the outside patio. My husband said they made the red cabbage just like his grandma did! Zion was wonderful... he gave us excellent service!

We love this place! We used to frequent it years ago, and then took a break as it can get a bit pricey for a family of five. We have had the pleasure of visiting here a few times over the past month, both as a couple double date night and with our kids. Both experiences were very pleasant and the food was just as good as we had remembered. My husband is from the Netherlands, so finding a place that has authentic food from close to home he enjoys. Highly recommend!!
