Standard practice is to clean your own table of the last patrons breakfast so you can sit. Shoulder to shoulder with everyone else because it would take an act of God to get them to open the other half of the dining area. Bring your own wash cloth for every table still has crumbs of the last meal ate. Don't waste your time. This is about the 5th time it's been like this it seem quite obvious they don't care but obviously the people who eat there don't care either.

Visiting Emmett today, we stopped for lunch at Cold Mountain Restaurant, and we were so happy we did! The food and service were wonderful. Portion sizes were hearty and my picky eater said the hamburger patty was “very impressive!”

Typical Emmett, half the police force in there having a leisurely breakfast and you get the side-eye if you're not somebody's kin. Having said that, the food was decent, service was fast. Please add something to the atmosphere, turn on a radio at least.

Last time we are giving this place a chance, its been awful the last half dozen times we've tried it.We understand people are short staffed, but if you are open be open and do well, even if you have to shorten your menu. Its understandable.Breakfast food has consistently been dry and cold.Waitresses are super friendly and doing the best they can!

We live in Eagle Idaho, but found this restaurant and it is usually less crowded than in town. We have been several times, food has been fresh, nice portions and very delicious. Clean, clean, clean…. Maybe a little slower than in town due to smaller staff but still doing a great job. It’s relaxing and enjoyable with it’s slightly less hectic pace. I LOVE it. It isn’t as noisy as a big chain. I noticed a fair amount of seniors today, which usually means good value for your money. Which I would agree with. I live out of town but will be back asap.
Cold Mountain Restuarant has fantastic service along with a very helpful menu and great food. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the available choices for dinner 5 stars all the way.

Always swing by to meet family for lunch when I'm in town. Now that I'll be returning to the area early next year, I'm looking forward to eating here frequently. I've never had either a bad meal or service. The excellent management is obvious.

My hubby and I were in Emmet looking for a place to eat. Stopped at Cold Mountain Creek and we were pleasantly surprised. We both had breakfast even though it was after noon. Eggs cooked perfectly, hash browns nice & crispy and the pancakes were piping hot. I like a place that will let you have a pancake instead of toast. In this case I got two. Very good breakfast and the service was great too. Would definitely go back!
