Pretty disappointed, we ordered and ended up getting the wrong order though there was an order with my same name so I understood. Then they remake our order and forgot my order of rice so lost out on some money from that. I also wish they put what was in their food on the menu so I could accommodate to our likings we didn't really know what came on the garlic chicken other then the chicken.

I am not a huge fan of writing 1 star reviews. Unfortunately when trying to look at the positives of this places it is very difficult. We were looking for something for takeout and saw that they had this option and were open later than many other places in town. When calling in the order it seemed typical. However when we went to pick the food they said cash or check only! Definitely something that should have mentioned prior to driving there. We don't have a bank in town so we had to pull out money from another bank which charges us a fee. If we would have known this a head of time we would have chosen another option. Was definitely surprising since most places take debit, credit or Apple Pay. This such an inconvenience. The inside is in desperate need of updating and cleaning! The inside looked like we went into a Time Machine to 1980...I could get on board with that if it was at least clean but this was not the case. The register is in the oddest location so when someone is opening the door it hits you while picking up food/paying. Now for the food quality. It was bad. It didn't even look appetizing. It was bland and greasy with limited veggies. We order pork chow mein, (had no pork in it!), orange chicken (sauce was decent but chicken non existent), pork fried rice (no pork again, and not fried, was more like white rice), and kung pao chicken (no spice, no red peppers, limited veggies other than carrots and smallest pieces of chicken). The spring rolls had smashed up food in the center and then fried in very old oil. Only could take a bite and couldn't even finish it. The taste was very unappetizing. I was very dissatisfied and my family was unpleased as well. Was really hoping to give a good review to support a small local business but I just have to be honest there is no way I can recommend this place.

I was born in Emmett and this has been my favorite Chinese place to get food I try to come over as much as often I live in Kuna now I highly recommend them they outbeat every Chinese place I've been to

We love Emmett Chinese! Great place, great people, great FOOD! It is family owned, and they are such kind and great people. We have been customers for years, and the owners m I ther also worked foe the family for years and is so sweet. They have only been doing take out now since covid. We love how when we go to get the food, the owner and his wife ask how our family is doing. My father had a major health event, and yesterday, when we picked up our order, they stopped everything they were doing to ask, "How is your dad doing?" That's small town and kindness that is missing so many places in the world. Plus, the food is amazing and always the same (in a great way). It's also our kids' favorite! Our kids always want Chinese for special events, holidays, and birthdays! Thanks, Emmett Chinese!!

I’ve ordered from this place twice on Uber Eats and both times they didn’t make the food. I just called to check why my order is still being prepared (2 hours after ordering) and they are closed at 5:30PM on a Monday. If you’re closed turn off your Uber Eats.

I’ve grown up in Emmett and have had many meals here. They have the BEST sweet and sour chicken. They’re beef fried rice, spicy mandarin chicken, and beef and broccoli are our other favorites. Perfect place to eat in or have comfort food at home!

Moved to Emmett couple years ago and was hesitate to try this place. Finally decided to give it a go. They were better than I expected. Veggie are fresh and they used fresh mushrooms with the chicken. Lol Hubby said the sweet & sour pork was good. I am surprised to see they have popcorn chicken which are very popular in Taiwan & West coast states that also sell boba(bubble) tea. It can use a bit more pepper salt. Egg roll needs to be fried a bit longer since the inner wrapper was not cooked fully. Overall I am glad I tried it and will def try other dishes. Gotta support the local mom/pop shops!
