Happy Teriyaki in Nampa is our favorite place to eat out. Just moved back to Emmett and was excited about getting it, but was disappointed in the differences. Portion sizes were much smaller for the same price, sauces were a different flavor and consistency. Was charged for a soy sauce and a side of chicken was a couple dollars more expensive and was not as good of quality. I know some locations are owned by different people but you would think they would want food to be the same across the board. On the good side, it was hot and fresh and the people working were nice.

I didn't get food here, but if you're in Emmett, this bubble tea is a MUST BUY! Was skeptical because it was a little shop, but got a nice surprise when I realized that my strawberry tea was frosted! It was so refreshing. They even have popping boba! I recommend the strawberry tea with the strawberry popping boba! ? couldn't talk to the staff because they got my boba out in 10 seconds, but that's good because I'm socially awkward! ?

Not recommended!!! I went to the one in Emmett. Spicy chicken smelled like dog food and didn't taste good. Steamed "vegetables" was almost pure cabbage with hardly anything else, so pretty disappointing. Rice was okay, but it's rice so how can you screw that up, right? Cashier girl was very nice which is why this gets two stars instead of one. The dude cooking looked angry, and I don't like it when an angry-looking person is preparing my food. Had to try the place, but will never go back.
