Tasty food in a friendly atmosphere. We had a bit of a wait but we showed up in the middle of a busy time. The servings weren't huge but plenty of food, the flavor was great and everything arrived hot and fresh. The prices were very good for a touristy area too, a family of four for under $40. Would definitely eat there again.
We aren't "local" and it seems that is a prerequisite for someone to acknowledge your presence. We enjoyed our breakfast, but could wait to leave the icy enviironment.

Stellar roadside spot! Stopped here along the way from Boise to Ketchup as it was the only open spot serving food, and it was delicious! Got the chicken friend steak with Mac n cheese to go, very tasty and reasonably priced
