Borderline Grill formerly was lovely. We went several times this summer and loved it.

We went again last Friday (Sept 6 2024) and immediately you could tell something had changed. The music was heavy metal (just not what I want while I eat) and we were not allowed to enter the dining room, so we sat in the bar. After waiting a while, with no server visits, we just decided to ask for our food to go. We said to the server, "This was a very different experience than the last two times we came."

She suddenly launched into this range-filled fit-like tantrum about change. She told us also that there was new management. She then said, "Get out of my restaurant and never come back."

What in the world?? It was so bizarre to see this woman absolutely come apart.

After we rang up, she said "WHY are you still standing here?"

We reminded her we hadn't gotten our food yet.

We didn't get our sauces (the least of our problems).

We will gladly "never come back."

I’m going to give 2 stars only for the friendly staff. I’ve put up with subpar service but like stopping in to talk with the staff who I’ve been really friendly with. The grill is horribly managed. Really since they reopened in June of 24. But I eat and drink daily after work until the manager Karen jumped me while I was talking about my day to the server. Even after the server said everything is fine over and over again. I’m Autistic and don’t deal with stress well and half way through my burger my stomach just got into knots. I do not recommend this establishment if you’re just interested in drinking or eating. Out of stock quite a bit on beer, I did recommend them a while ago to 2 co workers and both left and told me the same thing, that after not even a hello after a 25 minute wait, they left and will never return. Oh, and terrible cell service and NO guest WiFi. So leave your phones at home.

Ordered the cheeseburger which was a thin slice of hamburger. Bun and toppings were enormous and you can't taste any meat. It was 92 degrees outside and this place did not have any air circulation or air conditioner running. I'm surprised this restaurant is still open and not closed permanently. I Won't be back.

Well-kept healthy secret. With any entree you can go thru one-time salad bar as one of two sides A friend won $100 in 25 cent match game pieces. The Grill is next-door a gas station which hosted two winning lottery tickets holders.

Now they got rid of all the old staff that was there about 8 months ago, HORRIBLE! Will never go back.

I worked here for 2 years and me and some other staff members put all we had to make this place better. It was doing great until they closed for COVID and then fired us all for filing unemployment and then told us they weren't reopening and then reopened anyway with new staff that actually worked there before when it was awful and they were fired for stealing and they cut the menu down to one burger, a couple sandwiches, and a couple salads. Oh and a hot dog. Who goes to a restaurant for a hot dog? I will never eat here or give them another dime.

The menu used to be great, and their prices reasonable. Just got my $70 order home and we didn’t even get all of what we ordered. No update to their menu online, and the menu is extremely limited. No baked potato anymore, no steaks, no monte cristo, no philly, none of the things that made this place stand out. A club sandwich, that was actually a club salad once we got it home was $12, my turkey and bacon sandwich, $13. This used to be a regular spot for us to eat as we live in Franklin and it was very convenient, and they were good. Looks like we’re stuck going to Preston again where I could have save $40 eating at NY Deli and gotten better food.

Horribly slow service. Waited 30 mins for my food just for it to come out cold. Food looked ok but a cold burger is hard to judge. Won’t be back.
