This is the best bar in Elmore County Idaho. The food is great, and the atmosphere is laid back. It also has quite a bit of history. My grandfather used to grab a beer here back in the day. If you find yourself in Glenn's Ferry, stop in and grab a bite to eat and drink a beer. You'll be happy that you did.

Kid-friendliness: The bar is in a separate room from the dining area, so it's a great place to take the whole family. They also have a kid friendly menu. You can also learn some of Glenn's Ferry's local history from the stuff engraved on the tables and the local artifacts hanging on the walls.

I like this bar a lot because is quiet, well not always but it's fun. The bar tenders are awesome people. I definitely recommend this bar.

The DeRail Bar always has a friendly face, cold drinks, and excellent food. Great place to relax and have a game of pool or darts. Or bring the family for dinner at Becks Railhouse.

Stopped here with friends for lunch. Great Hamburgers is all I can say. For the price it is well worth the stop. Service could be a bit better but all in all we will be back for sure.

We are RV'ers and randomly stopped in this town, didn't want to cook and got take out from here. Great prices, friendly staff and surprisingly good food. Thanks for dinner (Oct 4th). We get a lot of terrible takeout and appreciate your effort.

Met cousins for a late lunch. Not sure if the waitress was new or what was going on. 2 meals were ordered with tater tots, 2 with French fries. 3 came out with fries, one with tater tots, with the wrong burger. Guys got their beers, us gals had to remind her of our drink order. She came back with one regular and one diet soda. What was ordered was one diet and 2 waters, she took one soda away ending up leaving a regular instead of the diet ordered. Had to get up from table when more water was needed, she never came around to fill water glasses or soda. Had to ask for our bill, and then it was corrected. Took awhile for our order, no big deal as we were visiting. The wait for food was well worth it, the burgers were amazing, we will return when in town again.

Yummy. Chicken sandwich, French dip, and a hamburger. Fries and onion rings. Everything was hot and sides were crispy! Soup of the day was Dill Pickle- never had that- was delicious!

I'd like to start off saying if a zero star was possible that's what I would give this place. Waited forever to get our drinks and food order in. Ordered kids meals that said beverage included. We ordered root beers for my four kids, and was not told nor was it listed on the menu that root beer was a separate charge. My burger was made at least 15 to 20 minutes before my wife and kids and was left to sit out and get cold ( get a food warming lamp). Needless to say my onion rings and burger were cold by the time we got our food. We sat at the table for over an hour and never received a drink refill on any of the other drinks. Our side portions were all different amounts. Three kids meals had a decent amount of fries and the fourth had maybe 10 fries on the plate. When I asked why I wasn't informed about the separate charges for root beer the maybe 16 year old server pointed to a small piece of paper hanging behind the food counter that wasn't even large enough to read from across the counter. Service was poor and the food was lousy. I have never paid nearly $70 dollars for food that wasn't even on the level of Burger king Or McDonalds.

We ate breakfast there on the mornings we stayed at the nearby Y Knot Winery RV Park. Very good food in large portions. Come hungry. Staff very friendly. Setting is in the original building dating back to when this was a water stop for the steam locomotives. The restaurant offered both inside seating and take-out.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times in the last year, both breakfast and lunch. I've reviewed it before and praised the food and service. But this time, no bueno. I ordered a coffee and got orange juice. My wife ordered a coke and got coffee. For lunch it was a BLT and Deluxe Cheeseburger. I can't tell you how bad they were AND took 35 minutes to get. Only 2 other tables were occupied in the restaurant. I got a side of macaroni salad. The macaroni was not cooked, still partially hard. Our server acted like she had no idea what a restaurant does. She was more intent on eating her Reeses, drinking a huge soft drink and talking to a woman at the bar. After 15 minutes of being done, we had to ask for the bill. Don't know what happened here. If it was our first time we'd never go back. I think I'll give it another chance but if we walk in and it's the same people, we're out!

Home-cooked, fresh, fast, historic interior. The bacon cheeseburger deluxe and ribeye burger were great. They are open and are serving huckleberry ice cream.
