Really was a very clean place. Wasn’t sure what to expect out there in a little town but it was definitely a honey hole. Great people running it and when the food came, it was way worth going in. Definitely worth the price and time to stop in

This place is the worst diner I’ve ever been to. All attempts to “Spruce” this place up has failed. There’s pictures on the wall giving the allure of farm to table food, but you can still see holes in the wall where one can only assume bugs and roaches are coming out from. Food has no flavor, salad bar is not fresh and contained flies. The service was lacking. You can hear cussing and yelling from the kitchen when the staff is overwhelmed. The sad attempt at what was called a jalapeño popper burger was raw when it came out. The fries were under cooked, bland and tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in weeks. I went to take my food back to the kitchen (because I couldn’t find anyone out front) and I was taken back by the state of the kitchen. There was lettuce being cut on a dirty counter, the floor in the corners were black from years of dirt and grease not being properly cleaned and there was an obvious smell of mildew. I just set my food down, paid for what I ordered (which it should have been comped) and left. I wasn’t about to risk the chance of food poisoning. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t shut this place down. I wish there was a no star rating but 0 stars

Yummy grilled cheese, turkey and cranberry sandwich as well as fries and onion rings!
The service was amazing. We had an interesting conversation with staff and found out about the historical museum in Murphy.
Great experience!!

I was in the area on a job yesterday and needed a bite to eat. My client recommended Cindy's so we headed off for a burger. I haven't had a good old fashioned burger like that in years. Reminds me of how things used to be. Huge portions, great flavor, and very friendly staff. I live two hours away and I will make the trip just to eat there again.
After an hour wait, the food was terrible. The crispy chicken was so over cooked it was almost black. I was worried about cracking a tooth. The fries were soggy and limp. The cfs sandwich seemed to be cooked in a dry pan and came out grey. The so-called gravy was brown gelatinous goop. The onion rings were doughy and also under cooked. Beware, the wait was NOT worth it.
3-2025 FINALLY a great place to eat in Elmore County.. was too late for breakfast. Home made BREAD BLT to die for!! Onion rings best in Idaho EVER. Great atmosphere, Colby our server was most excellent. Friendly, mannerly. Food served perfectly. I can’t wait to go for breakfast. A mere 23 miles from my house. So nice to not experience another disappointment restaurant.. I’ve got out of state guests coming.. I’ll be taking them there. Cindy’s cooking rivals my own. I hear breakfasts are great too. Thanks Colby for a stellar dining experience..
A fun little cafe at the end of Main St in the heart of Grand View, ID. It was decorated in a fun Grinch theme for the holidays. We had just missed getting there for breakfast, so we decided to stay for an early lunch and I’m glad we did. We had the Jalapeño Popper burger with fries and the Bacon Blue Cheeseburger with hand battered onion rings. The onion rings were great! Burgers were both awesome as well! The device was amazing!! I will definitely be going back. This was well worth the drive.

A small town cafe. It's definitely worth the drive to Grand View, Idaho to enjoy some down home comfort food. Four of us took a motorcycle ride down from Boise, Idaho to check out their Chicken Fried Steak sandwiches. It was certainly worth the trip. The sandwiches are awesome. The gravy that came with them in a small bowl for dunking was tasty as well. These reminded me of Pork Tenderloin sandwiches in the Mid West only made with Beef. The French fries and Onion rings were quite delicious too. They also have a nice salad bar if you're so inclined. Cindy's Cafe is definitely a great place to have a meal! I know we'll be heading back for more.
