Black Owl Coffee should be renamed Black Owl Hot Dogs. They just added a slew of hot dogs to their menu. To say they are wonderful is an understatement. They import the hot dogs from Chicago and cook them onsite. The buns, soft and chewy, are locally made.The combination is a taste of heaven. My favorite is The Italian Dude. Who would have thought of melting mozzarella on a hot dog? I wouldn't, but lucky for us, they did. Run, so you can burn off the calories and eat one (maybe two?) of their wonderful hot dogs,

Black Owl Coffee in Hailey is a hidden gem! The coffee is amazing, with a rich, smooth flavor that keeps you coming back for more. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax or get some work done. The staff is super friendly and always provides excellent service. Everything was fantastic, but why missing a star you ask? It is popular, due to it's level of awesome, and has limited indoor seating. Kind of on top of each other. There is outdoor seating, but it is also limited and it was hot that day.
Ok, coffee, 10 out of 10. Food, 13 Californians out of 13. My wife got avocado toast with pumpkin seeds and I got a breakfast bowl with sausage ,egg, gravy, etc. Fantastic service 7 out of 7 waiters.
