We stayed in Hailey, Idaho when skiing at Sun Valley. We read good things about Dangs so decided to give it a try on a Friday night. The place was hopping! There were only 2 of us but the proprietor told us the wait would be 45 minutes. He took down my number, promising to call when a table was ready. We went to a grocery store and he called within about 10 minutes, saying our table would be ready in 15 minutes! While this place has gorgeous, generous servings of sushi, we opted for Thai. It was excellent. The locals go here too-because they know! We sat next to some friendly ones. Oh yeah! You were wondering about the food, weren't you? My husband started out with Thom Kah soup with tofu. It was quite tangy but he liked it. For his entree he ordered Mussaman curry. I didn't get a pic because he dumped his rice in & stirred it around before I could get a photo. My green curry was yummy with lots of fresh crispy-tender green beans and other veggies. We would go back and you should too.

We've been to Dang's many times but felt this last visit (6pm 12/27/23) was so wonderful that it needed a review. Our reserved table was ready and waiting even though they were super busy. The service was excellent and consistent, we never felt ignored. The appetizers and drinks came out promptly and were delicious. The Tom Kah was excellent! We then ordered enough sushi rolls and sashimi to fill a boat and we were delighted with the quality of each roll. Highly recommend the Salmon Lemon roll and the Fire Fighters roll. The white tuna sashimi was so buttery and delicious we had to reorder despite the amount of sushi we already had.

The food was very good, and the service was great! Some locals recommended it to me as the best Thai food they've ever had, and though it was good, it was pretty average in comparison to other Thai restaurants I've been to. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place!

Service, food, presentation, staff all just right.I am 6'2". I feel cramped all 3 times that I have been there, this in itself removes the total relaxed and fun experience. Tables are too close together. Still ...... 5 stars to everything else.

Grabbed some dinner from here tonight, the best Thai food I’ve had! Walked in to pick up my Togo order and it smelled SO good in there, I knew it would be good. Even my kids commented on how good it smelled once I got in the car. Yellow curry with chicken was amazing, the perfect amount of heat and spice.We’re from out of town but will definitely stop here every time we come through.

We were very excited to try Dangs! Truth be told it didn't disappoint. I had Green Curry with Prawns and my wife had the Phad Thai w/ chicken. We both raved about our dishes. The Thai iced tea was on point and the interior is cozy and warm. The staff is amazing as well.
