Stopped in on a Sunday morning; not crowded but a steady stream of customers. We both had the “Idaho Scrambler” for breakfast and milkshakes for the road. Service, food, decor were all excellent. Staff was friendly and efficient. 👍🙂

Awesome, fresh food. At awesome fresh prices. Make the drive south of Sun Valley to this affordable but delicious spot. We sat on the patio on a busy Sunday morning and got our food fast and hot. Will be back.

I was looking for a great local spot. I did not want one of the hippie places. Shorty’s was fantastic. Connelly was a great, attentive server. The kitchen staff even made my breakfast just the way I like it. Most places don’t listen or even try to help. I highly recommend Shorty’s for your next meal. You will not be disappointed.

We took our two young children here who were crying/freaking out the entire breakfast, and the staff could not have been more patient, kind, and helpful. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Good people run this place - highly recommend supporting this restaurant!

It's a nice place kind of a 50s diner. I ordered a prime rib dip. The meat was very good and tender. The dip, however, had no taste, not very good. My wife got a Patty, melt and the hamburger tasted like it'd been in the freezer for a long time. A little disappointed.

I was excited to see this diner. It has the fun 50's theme and the menu has classic items like chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Sadly, that's where the excitement ended. We have gone here 3 times to give it a solid try and I won't be going back. We tried something different each time we visited, and nothing is worth spending our money on again. The food is just not special. The service was fine with no major faults, unless you are sitting at the booths near main street. In that case, the staff when waiting for food to come up lingers behind the counter and just stare are you.
