What an awesome place! The view is stunning, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is fun and comfortable. I can't wait to take the rest of my family to this best kept secret hideaway.

Super excited to find this place. Until we got a second beer while sitting outside. The first beer was in a 16 oz glass. The second round came in 12 oz plastic cups for the same price. Bait and switch much? Would have been our new favorite spot because you can have your dogs on the patio. But just charge me for 12 oz when that's all I get. Maybe they really only do cater to their specific locals. What a shame, we live really close too, could have gave them a lot of money

Amazing place. We hold our family reunion there every year. They are wonderful. The staff is on the spot and have never had an order messed up. Never a complaint from a single family member. Beautiful views, especially the sunset over the lake. A must try place.

Wheelchair accessibility: I was in a wheelchair and had no problem getting around. They were even at max capacity.

As a local to Post Falls, I have never felt so unwelcome to an establishment. My four friends and I chugged our drinks outside on the patio away from all others just to feel semi-comfortable in our own company. We were initially planning to stay and have food and several drinks but immediately chugged drinks and left and dinned elsewhere. If you are not a regular in this establishment, even if you’re a local to North Idaho, don’t go… you won’t feel welcome.

My friend and I took a short drive to Hauser Lake, to try out D-MAC's. Wednesday nights they have a VERY popular Prime Rib dinner special. So popular, it was completely sold out by 6 PM.

Our second choice, their 14oz Ribeye was also sold out.

We ended up going with a breadless Patty Melt and a bunless Fungus Amungus burger. We both agreed that the beef patties were well flavored and large (we both had leftovers).

The view from the bar is wonderful and our server Stacey was great. We’re going to try another time to get their Wednesday special, but if you want to try it, definitely get there REALLY early. ?

On a side note, turns out the place is supposedly haunted (didn’t experience anything odd tonight). They also have a place that patrons can enjoy Hauser Lake.

Our kind of place, bit old fashioned. Good food and drinks. Been there a few times now. Great flavor with prime rib and sandwiches, DMAC punch is awesome. Great food, good beer, awesome raspberry pie.

We ate here almost every day that we were visiting my aunt and uncle. Family owned and operated, they are just awesome!! My daughter had the fish and chips a few times, I had it too, best fish and chips we've ever had. The prime rib was perfect, burgers were amazing! The pie... yeah I ate my weight in pie there. You HAVE to eat here at least once!! Small restaurant off a bar but the food speaks for itself!

Stopped in for a beer while we were out and about. Beer was served in plastic and tasted old or the lines weren’t clean. Plastic cups were ~12oz and our beers were $7 each.

The view outside is beautiful but there’s only one spot in the restaurant where you can see the lake from inside. A few tables outside but they were not kept clean.

Overall we didn’t have a bad time, but there are better places to go and I had high hopes for D-Mac’s.

I'm really surprised at the number of good reviews here. I was terrified to order anything. The whole place was filthy, dirty tables, dirty floors, Christmas decorations up (in July), boxes of crap piled everywhere. The bathroom reeked, and had more bottles of air freshener than rolls of toilet paper. Pretty sure the waitress was eating the food there because she was assisting in the bathroom reek. I know this because one stall doesn't go high enough to shield the person sitting there and they put dirty fishing net up trying to block the view which I didn't realize until it was too late and we made eye contact. Not judging her, by the time we left I too participated in the reek shortly after I had 2 bites of the terribly over cooked fish sticks. (Ikik but I was hoping fried was safe, it wasn't). I was excited about the pie but when I looked in the case several slices were missing toppings and the chocolate one had a melty brown liquid it was sitting in. If you don't have a stomach of steel, no sense of smell and a general disregard for cleanliness, I would avoid this place.

This place is falling apart on the outside: handicap parking signs have fallen over, the ramp and exterior are in need of minor repairs, vine growth have covered much of the building. But the inside is well-maintained and clean. Service wasn't very good; our server was absent for long stretches of time. Food was great! Definitely recommend the bacon-wrapped jalapeno peppers. Drinks were served in frosty mugs. Large selection of beer and mixed drinks. Large food menu as well.

Pretty good food, great outdoor atmosphere especially for our kids. We ate outside on their picnic tables and it was so fun to see the lake and trees while we ate, and the kids could play on the grass in between bites. First time there, but I have a feeling when we're visiting the area, we'll definitely be back again.
