We were a party of 4, spent $400 on appetizers, food, and drinks. We were sat down and were never told there was a time restriction. We ordered a round of appetizers and then our food came out shortly after. It seemed like they were in a hurry to get us out, even though there were several empty tables.The waiter hurriedly brought our check, but we asked for another round of drinks and he said no because they had another party coming. I asked why he couldn’t seat the party at another table as the restaurant was empty. He said he could not do that because they anticipated the restaurant would get busy. He even expressed it was ridiculous, but he was being told by his boss that they needed the table. We were there for a little under and hour, it not as if we were loitering and not spending money. We would never come back again after that experience.

I will start with the food was amazing. Our waitress was great. However the Hostest was less than acceptable. She started off the evening by insulting my friend upon check in. We did have a reservation but she was extremely unprofessional. We were early and decided to have a drink at the bar before dinner. The drinks were amazing and the bar staff was great. We sat outside under the trees waiting for our table. My friend was paged so we went back to the hostess station. She saw us approaching and left to seat other people. However, after standing there for 3-4 minutes I decided to see what happened to her. She was standing in the bar looking at her iPad. She saw me and stated oh yeah I guess I texted you and walk back to the her station where my friends and wife were standing and made the same remark to them. We were seated and things were good until just before our dinner arrived and she came out and moved the table behind us and that in turn moved the umbrella at that table and left us in direct sunlight. I stated that you just moved our shade and she was extremely rude stating you have your own umbrella and she had to move things around for a large party. Although when she moved tables she actually put them directly in front of the stairway that is an egress point for the deck. If she had moved both tables to the North then we and tables to our side would have still had shade. So we ate our dinner in direct sunlight while the walkway with no tables were shaded because of her bad decision. So after dinner we asked to speak to the manager to express our concerns about the hostess. Well I guess the hostess is not only the manager but she stated she is the owner. Not sure she took the feedback well and made excuses that were so off the wall that I could not believe what she was saying. Oh I was just joking with your friend and it was a big party so they needed more room. We were the only table in the middle row on the deck that was in full sunlight. So needless to say I'm not sure we will be back due to her poor attitude. At least apologize for your behavior and learn from your mistakes. Again it's a shame that her attitude overshadowed the other staffs amazing job of making our friends anniversary dinner special. And again the food and drinks were amazing, which is the only reason we may go back.

On the Lake our favorite summer restaurant! Food always good & service was very good. We bring all put if town friends here to enjoy tge ambience & sunset over the mountains/lake!

My family and I always eat here when we camp at Sam Owen Campground. Last visit on 8/13/24 we walked in with no reservation because last time they said they do not except them. We gave our name to the hostess and waited. After waiting about 20 minutes the hostess proceeded to seat another walkin party just after they walked in. When I asked if they had reservations she simply said "no but I'm doing the best I can". Not I'm sorry or any offer to correct the situation just walked off. I suggest if she can't handle the Ipad for reservations to use a pen and paper........

Beautiful view of Lake Pend Orielle. Our server was friendly and knew the menu very well. They charge the same amount for a virgin cocktail we ordered as the alcohol version. We were told in advance but it still seems like an odd policy. Nonetheless, the food was excellent and we will be back.

Atmosphere is 5 stars. Ordered the Shrimp Ceviche - 5 stars. Ordered Ceaser Salad-5 stars. Skirt Steak and Jerked Chicken -5 stars. Ordered wine, beer and drinks throughout the meal -5 stars. Service-5 stars... until we ordered dessert (which was also 5 stars). When our dessert came out, we were told, "Enjoy your sundae, but my manager needs this table." One small thing like this can completely wipe out at least two stats from the overall experience.
