The service was excellent. However, the atmosphere is not as appealing. Having grown up in Boise, I used to escape the winter inversion by visiting Idaho City. Unfortunately, the historic building was destroyed by a fire, and the original town's ambiance was never fully restored. Furthermore, the prices seem rather high, which is understandable given the changing times.

Great ice cream and great flavors! Both young ladies did a great job with service as well. Thank you for the experience after a long day of roofing.

This place was such a cute little ice cream parlor. The drive was a bit long but we were already in the area sightseeing. THE ICE CREAM WAS DLISCIOUS!!!

Was visiting our Idaho family from California and went up to Idaho City for some hiking. This ice cream shop is adorable and delicious. Loved their Salted Caramel! Super fun vibe, very friendly staff. The whole town is great. I highly recommend stopping here.

Tried to get Idaho City. Ended up at this ice cream shop instead.

Soo soo average ice-cream, not made in house. It's usually a fun vist and we like to support small town businesses. However, on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend they had ONE young girl working there by herself and the place was packed. She was overwhelmed doing the best she could. They were out of several flavors and the girl was NOT ALLOWED to open cartons of new ice-cream that was in the freezer for all to see. That is a ridiculous policy.

I visited Sasparilla today and found the ice cream to be excellent; however, the service was less than satisfactory. The staff member appeared to give me unwelcoming looks, which made the experience uncomfortable.

We took a scenic drive out to Idaho City as a break from our visit to St. Lukes in Boise for my wife's cancer treatment. This ice cream parlor was the icing on the cake for a great day of exploring local history. They have a nice covered patio where you can sit and enjoy your chosen flavors. We had huckleberry and pistachio almond. It's definitely worth the trip!

The huckleberry ice cream is amazing. Stop and try it if you never have had it. And even if you have! The staff was friendly. Cute place.
