The Gold Mine Grill - Saloon - Hotel

Came in for our anniversary while in town, wasn’t greeted or even acknowledged for at least 10-15 minutes. There was only one other table inside. Then was told the kitchen was closing, mind you we walked in at 8pm at a place that closes at 10pm. Anyways that’s not the point, we spent $50 and my husband didn’t even like his meal. Had to go up to the bartender to ask for our check. Honestly was just really disappointed in the service and food. Unfortunately won’t come back.

Awsome old fashioned place. Just had a hard time eating with a swarm of flies.

Make sure to bring a fly swatter, or two, when you come to eat. Many flies harassed us through the entire meal.

Wow, I came here with a friend of mine and we had these killer, killer nachos! We shared them. It was plenty. They were extremely tasty. I was just really impressed and even their Coke was the best Coke. It was the real thing. It tasted so good. We had a chick who was our waitress. And she was phenomenal, her name was Strawberry. I really liked her. She was very friendly, personable and she took good care of us! So stop in at the Goldmine Grill and Bar. I think you’ll be happy you did.

Came off the mountain from camping because we needed WiFi. Didn’t expect much, just a quick in and out. Ended up spending a couple hours. Ordered food and had some drinks. Food was great! Parmesan fries were seriously awesome! Wife and I had a salad, both were great! Son had finger steaks, daughter had shrimp. All were surprisingly good. They have a peach lager on tap that is fantastic. Nick took care of our table. He was great! Overall fantastic experience!

Wow! After living in Idaho for 6 years, I gave up trying to find a good chicken wing. I honestly gave up after about year 3. Someone finally got the memo to just flour and fry at 350-375 for 12-13 minutes. Don't overthink it! 10/10 give whoever knows what they are doing a raise! Their sauces were okay, but (returning for a good wing) asking to mix the garlic parm and buffalo (throw that on your menu as garlic buffalo) transported me right back to my childhood in upstate NY. I was not expecting to be caught off guard and FINALLY find a proper chicken wing. Other food we had prior night was alright, but none of that matters because SOMEONE MADE A PROPER CHICKEN WING THAT STANDS ALONE!!!! CELEBRATE THIS!!

Give them a raise. Someone finally gets it. Order the wings, ask to mix the garlic parm and buffalo. Not half and half, mix! Damn near perfection. Only criticism I would have is to maybe not salt the flour dredge, as the sauce is plenty salty. 9.5/10. Ignore the rest of the menu. Get the chicken wings and a mid strength beer!!!! And don't even think about ranch, you heathen 😉

Not very happy came in to eat wanted to get a burger and they tell me they are only doing basket food because it's too hot not very happy especially when I see the table next to me eating a burger
