This is my first time in Idaho City and I'm SO glad we chose to come to trudys! I had the huckle berry bacon blue burger and our kids had the kids chicken strips. Let's just say they were the BOMB! Also our server molly was amazing, she was alone with a full house and she still gave us amazing personalized service! If you come into town be sure to make a visit!
Trudy’s Kitchen is awesome! The best prime rib I’ve had in a long time!! Way better than we’ve had in Boise lately. Fantastic meal!! The service was great, thank you Molly!
A bit underwhelmed. Got the prawns, which was probably not the best choice. Good, but not great, a little tough, and they didn't come with anything. I added a side salad. Got the Huckleberry cheesecake, which was okay. Wish I would have tried some warm pie and ice cream instead! It was close to closing, and everyone was getting the subtle boot, so I chose something to go.
Great staff and good food.
Nice, organized staff. Good food.
Pie is very good
The customer service was absolutely delightful. Our server Molly did an AMAZING job!! Our food was immaculate while the atmosphere was extremely welcoming!! Here for a pit stop but will be coming back as often as possible!! Thank you to everyone working here!!
Food was good for both me and wifey. The only drawback was the Coke tasted like Root Beer. No getting rid of the taste, even after a second try.
Great service and food!
Absolutely phenomenal. We went for breakfast and had just missed it so got lunch instead. I got finger steaks ,my wife got fish. So good the ranch was excellent, homemade finger steaks, and the fries were fresh cut. Service was great. Will definitely be stopping by in our way through again.

If they have the cheeseburger soup, get it. Actually I can tell all the soups are delicious based on this one. For sure homemade. Also. The finger steaks. So good.
2 servers. Place was packed and they absolutely killed it. Good vibe. Friendly people.
Recommended stop while in Idaho City!
Pleasantly surprised with the Reuben at Trudy's and the cheeseburger was great! Hand cut fresh Idaho home fries and onion rings, and the sandwich had the most excellent cheese pull that even Bill and Ted would be proud of!
Limited menu but great food! Delicious onion rings and finger steaks were nice chunks of actual steak!
Make sure to get some pie!
Friendly, attentive staff and good food. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a restaurant in small town, Idaho. (homey and comfortable)
My wife and I had a couple different food items each, and one thing I can say for sure is, if you like fresh coleslaw, you should definitely try theirs.
You can expect to spend $15-$20 per person if you aren't having dessert.
