Oh My this place can make good fried chicken! And the fries were enough to make two meals. My air fryer at home crisped my fries up nicely on day two. The service was fantastic. I've just moved to Iona and wanted lunch. I didn't know they cooked everything from scratch. So when the person at the counter realized I had to get back to my new home so I could meet someone she recommended the chicken tenders because they didn't take much time. She was right and I waited for my meal. Of course while I was waiting the next table over got their meal. OH MY!!! It looked so good I had to ask what they ordered because it looked amazing. They forgave my rudeness and nicely told me "The Yost." That is what I'm having next time. It looked amazing. Definitely I'm going back and bringing my spouse.

The food and people are excellent!! The chicken is juicy and delicious!! They have 4 flavors Kool aid on tap!!! The Maverick, Hot Mess, strips, legs, tater salad, and raspberry Whipple are all very good!!! The restaurant is clean and the people are nice! Definitely need to add this place to your weekly rotation!!

Great food and friendly service. My son and I both got chicken strips, they were Delicious. I recommend the jalapeno ranch. He got fries, they were good (of course I stole a couple). I got beans, also good. Drink choices could use some more sugar free options. Overall great food and I'll be back again for sure!

We had the buffalo chicken hot mess and it was really really good. There sauce is better than most buffalo sauces. Good scones to. We called ahead which helped save time.

The folks here are so nice. The good is delicious. They have Kool-aid!! And it’s mixed perfectly. I swore off Kool-Aid at the last church function where it was way too much water and that was decades ago. It was fun to just have a glass of Kool-Aid. The corn nuggets are amazing (and who doesn’t just like saying “corn nuggets“) and the raspberry Whipple is delightful.

This is the place to go for chicken!!!! Family owned and a rotating dessert selection. They always have cinnamon rolls!!! What really impressed me is the kids that come in with their quarters to get an ice cream cone. This establishment keeps that price low for the kids. I loved that

My whole and rather large family went to Jill's Chicken Shack in Iona yesterday. My youngest son ordered the 'Hot Mess'. As we ate, everyone (in line) said, "What is THAT? I WANT THAT! What is he eating? I'll have that over there."To top it off, ice cream is 50 cents.Good times.Kid-friendliness: This place is packed with kids.
Heard about this place and stopped by to check it out coming back from Rigby. I tried the chicken, potato salad and baked beans. The chicken was superb, excellent breading with great seasoning, cooked to a perfect finish - crunchy and tasty. The baked beans and potato salad were both excellent as well. My wife had a vanilla soft-serve ice cream cone and it was so good she had another!Highly recommend this little Iona spot.

Brought family from out of town and everything they ate they raved about. We go all of the time. The food is consistently amazing and the owners are just fantastic people! They deal with rude people with such grace (especially when there are city events ;)) thank you for making our community amazing!

Jill's chicken shack is an awesome local restaurant. Everything is delicious there! You can't go wrong with anything you order. Their cinnamon rolls are the best I've had in town. Their fry sauce is delicious with both the fries and chicken strips. Writing this review makes me want to go eat there again!
