Every time I’ve been to Island Park they are closed. I come here a lot!

We didn't stay in rooms, we only ate in the restaurant. The food here is simply divinely delicious! Pleasant staff, beautiful view from the window. Very! Very tasty food and large portions.

Went to the restaurant for dinner. Although a bit pricey, food is decent. The male bartender has a great personality, but the short female waitress, is off and has an attitude. We’ve been saying “thank you” every time she brings something to our table but doesn’t say anything back and just walks away like she wasn’t happy with her job. If you want a good service, I do not recommend coming to this place. Take your money somewhere else.

Went for a late breakfast about 11:15 a.m. Not too busy and had a great table at a window. We were disappointed that it was too cool to eat outdoors but indoors was pleasant. Food, prices, serving portions were decent. Our server with long dark hair was not friendly and abrupt. Coffee served promptly after ordering but no utensils, cream or sugar..Not utensils were given to us until food was served which made stirring sweetener and cream into coffee impossible. sweeping around our table and as close to our feet without touching I felt like I should lift up my feet. She interrupted our conversation and made us feel like she couldn't get us out of there fast enough. Wouldn't recommend.

Just returned from this place and though the local Henry's Fork IPA was very good, the mushroom appetizer was certainly forgettable. Five very Small caps (think quarter size with the filling sunk below the rim), with no real filling - just a tiny dollop of...something. I wanted Fish tacos but they are only on the lunch menu - served until 2 - and it was 4 pm when I arrived
One of the servers/food runners was flailing a fly swatter behind the bar then laid it on the bar mat! I understand flies are a common pest - but please don't twirl the swatter on your finger ! Yikes! I won't go back.

Great restaurant for breakfast and dinner! We ate and drink there 3 times during the week we stayed Island Park and it exceeded the quality of anything we had in the whole of the Yellowstone Park area across a 300 mile radius! The servers were friendly and helpful! We would highly recommend to anyone staying in the surrounding area!

Did not stay at the lodge but ate at “Last Chance Bar and Grill” both morning’s we visited Yellowstone. Food was delicious I had the mountain man and the biscuits and gravy. I recommend having the funeral photos as a side as well! The breakfast menu has a good variety and is very well priced. If I didn’t live in South Dakota I would come back more often! Staff was nice and we were able to get a table quick during a busy Saturday morning.

This restaurant is great. The food was delicious. I had the bison burger, my first time trying, and I would highly recommend it. Among the bust burgers I've eaten. The outside dining area was closed when we went, but the workers are very thoughtful. When we expressed how it was a shame it was closed, the waitress went on her own and asked if they could make an exception today since there weren't many diners, and they allowed it. Outside, you have beautiful views and your right along the river. The sun was setting during this time to make it romantic. It was all in all an amazing experience, I will definitely be coming again

The food was excellent, I had one of the best ribeye steaks that I have had in a long time. However, I only rated it a four-star because of the limited menu. I have to confess the stuff on the menu, they really do know how to prepare.
