This place seemed cool at first but it went downhill. Only good part was making friends. It is more for beginners but at this place they clearly do not treat their horses well. They slap their horses for doing absolutely nothing wrong. They even ride 29 year old horses who are clearly to skinny and tired. Some of their horses are so skinny and very ill muscled. When we feed some water hasn’t been cleaned for a while and there are dead ground squirrels everywhere. Some counselors don’t even know how to ride. I have been working with horses for 11 years so when I see stuff like this it kinda upsets me. They even yanked on this poor horses mouth because he wouldn’t stand still. That is a very lazy and abusive way of fixing the problem. Even the some of the counselors were rude and seemed to not like kids. All the horses hate each other and kick and bite as well which is very odd to me. One horse clearly has an ulcer but they wouldn’t take him to the vet because they needed him for camp. Do better.
We had so much fun watching the kids rodeo. The entertainment was so good. Old fashioned fun. The meal was excellent. So much food.
Highly recommend, MVR is like a second home. With amazing counselors, lots of friends and amazing teaching, MVR is a great place to learn to ride. I ❤️ MVR.
Rodeo was fun and the food was really good! Definitely worth the trip!
This was a fantastic experience overall. We attended the rodeo and dinner while visiting West Yellowstone and had a blast. We especially enjoyed watching the children show off the skills they learned during camp. The food was delicious, and the musicians were very entertaining.

This was a very unique experience, it had an amazing small town feel. All the proceeds go back to the ranch for the kids and rescuing horses. The rodeo was fun seeing the kids show off what they learned. The food was amazing, you get a large variety of food. The food made it all worth it, a huge delicious home cooked meal. The ranch was beautiful and the band closed out the night really well! Overall an amazing way to spend your evening.
We had a wonderful night out at the Meadow Vue Ranch! The food was absolutely delicious and huge portions. The views were incredible and the rodeo was a lot of fun!! 10/10 recommend!!
Meadow Vue Ranch is fantastic! The food is incredible and they feed you a ton of food! The music is perfect for a true cowboy/western environment. The rodeo was a lot of fun. Most of all, seeing the young people perform what they have learned is inspirational. Mountain Vue is a "must attend" when in the West Yellowstone area.

We had a party of 15 and it was a great experience. Great setting, delicious food, wonderful entertainment. Highly recommended it.
A truly great family experience, seeing all these wonderful children at camp and learning what matters in life
We had an amazing time . Such a cute place . We loved the food and music . Awesome job !!!
The kids camp has a meal and a “rodeo” Wednesdays and Saturdays for the kids to show off what they've learned for the week. The food was ok and steaks were way overcooked. Its $45 each so for my family to eat (12 and 14 year olds were ALSO $45) mediocre food and watch kids do laps was $180. Seems like a cool camp but not even close to being worth it. We had a great trip to Yellowstone but skip this and go to the real rodeo.
My teen will be attending camp again this summer, marking his 3rd year. He has made so many great memories and he enjoys keeping in touch with counselors and fellow campers. He’s even considering becoming a camp counselor in the future. It is so fun to attend the rodeo nights and see how much he’s progressed in riding. Located close to the West Yellowstone entrance, Meadow Vue Ranch offers a week-long experience for our son while we parents enjoy a week exploring the park. We’ll be coming back for many years to come, it really is the perfect vacation for everyone!
