Meadow Vue Rodeo and dinner was the perfect start to our "Mountain / Yellowstone" week! Everyone was super nice, and the rodeo and food were exactly as I hd expected.
We enjoyed our experience very much. 5 adults and 8 kids ages 10-18. Family friendly atmosphere. Small town rodeo. Thoughtful experience. Felt authentic and was a small taste of a what a big rodeo would be but felt small town meaningful. We would do it again. The kids had fun line dancing, and roping and watching the rodeo. The adults liked the rodeo, the open fire cooked food and the live music.
We have been here many times over the years and it is great every time! The rodeo is fun and the food is always delicious! We love the live music and cowboy poetry with the most beautiful and scenic backdrop. Don’t miss out!
A truly wonderful experience for my family. Everyone there was enjoying the rodeo and the youngsters showing their new riding skills. great selection of food and beverages. What a great way to spend an evening in Island Park.
Highly recommend this experience if in the West Yellowstone area. The rodeo is a cool culmination of the kids work during summer camp, and the dinner was delicious. Overall it feels like you're being welcomed into a special family event and the views make it more magical. Stay for the live music, chat with people in the food line and cheer on the horse riders. Would definitely come back!
Glowing review! My daughter had a magical experience at Meadow Vue Ranch camp! From the absolutely stunning views on property and the large volume of horses, to the fun counselors and new western and rodeo skills learned (she had been riding eastern for many years), everything she described was a big hit! I appreciate the camp owners’ passion for horses and nature, and the really fun finale (rodeo, dinner, line dancing, singing) they produced.
100% recommend for anyone looking for an evening of entertainment, great laughs and a beautiful view. The location is with gorgeous mountains in the background, great entertainment, great food. Our family of 27 all said it was one of their favorite parts of our vacation!
This was a true Western experience! Full of feel good vibes and a stunning sunset. Food was cowboy style, plain but tasty. Worth going!
Overall, we had a fun, out of the norm experience with the family. The rodeo was uniquely entertaining. The view was spectacular. The food and picnic tables left a bit to be desired.
Our family reunion included a group of 16 from 10 years to 70 years old. The rodeo, dinner and entertainment were wonderful experiences for all of us. We highly recommend that you put this on your list of things to do, you will not be disappointed!!

This place seemed cool at first but it went downhill. Only good part was making friends. It is more for beginners but at this place they clearly do not treat their horses well. They slap their horses for doing absolutely nothing wrong. They even ride 29 year old horses who are clearly to skinny and tired. Some of their horses are so skinny and very ill muscled. When we feed some water hasn’t been cleaned for a while and there are dead ground squirrels everywhere. Some counselors don’t even know how to ride. I have been working with horses for 11 years so when I see stuff like this it kinda upsets me. They even yanked on this poor horses mouth because he wouldn’t stand still. That is a very lazy and abusive way of fixing the problem. Even the some of the counselors were rude and seemed to not like kids. All the horses hate each other and kick and bite as well which is very odd to me. One horse clearly has an ulcer but they wouldn’t take him to the vet because they needed him for camp. Do better.
We had so much fun watching the kids rodeo. The entertainment was so good. Old fashioned fun. The meal was excellent. So much food.
Highly recommend, MVR is like a second home. With amazing counselors, lots of friends and amazing teaching, MVR is a great place to learn to ride. I ❤️ MVR.
Rodeo was fun and the food was really good! Definitely worth the trip!
This was a fantastic experience overall. We attended the rodeo and dinner while visiting West Yellowstone and had a blast. We especially enjoyed watching the children show off the skills they learned during camp. The food was delicious, and the musicians were very entertaining.
