Stayed here with my family and it was super pretty but I’m very angry because I accidentally left my wedding ring and 2 others with it thinking I could get them sent to me cause it gets cleaned by maids (also no one stayed there yet, it hadn’t even been cleaned yet) but one of the cleaners sadly stole them and is being dishonest about it. I know I left them and I know EXACTLY where I left them. I’ve called a couple times to see if there was an update and the person on the phone was very rude and defensive about the situation which makes me really know that they were stolen and maybe happens often. Very upset about the service. Not to mention that my brother was still in town and went to look for them himself and they were already gone. MAKE SURE NOT TO LEAVE ANY VALUABLES. YOU WILL NOT GET THEM BACK!!

We stayed three nights in a cabin and ate four meals at the restaurant. All the meals were excellent. Servers were very friendly. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Pizza was better than what we’ve had in a while.

We’ve traveled across the country with our 12-year-old child who has severe food allergies, and never once have we encountered the kind of insensitive, hostile treatment we experienced at Pond’s Lodge.
As always, we informed the staff that our son would not be ordering due to his allergies and had brought his own safe meal – something we’ve done at countless restaurants without issue. That changed here.
Enter the blonde “Karen” of Pond’s Lodge – aggressive, confrontational, and completely lacking in empathy. She approached us mid-meal with an attitude, loudly enforcing their “no outside food” policy as if we were sneaking in fast food rather than protecting our child’s health and safety. When we calmly explained the situation and even offered to leave if our presence wasn’t welcome, she continued pushing their policy with zero compassion.
Our son, humiliated and now too embarrassed to eat, packed away his food. That’s when we decided we’d had enough. We asked for our $140+ meal to be boxed up and walked out. The only semblance of professionalism came from the apologetic staff—who clearly struggle under this woman’s rule.
The food? Irrelevant at this point. The experience? Unforgivable.
If you value kindness, decency, and the basic human understanding that food allergies are not a lifestyle choice, avoid this place at all costs. No one deserves to be treated the way we were—especially not a child.

Not customer friendly and very rude staff. Upon arrival they took away my water cup and while we were waiting for our food, it was very cold right under the vent, so we moved to another table that didn't have a cold vent blowing down on us. Shortly after we moved, the waitress got upset with us for moving to a different table (this was during a slow time of the day). Then the manager came out and asked us to leave. If I could give 0 stars, I would have.

Crap service. Don’t take your own cup of water in here, or you bad. Don’t move to a different table than where you’re put, even if the fan is blowing on you and you haven’t seen your waitress for 10 minutes. my 80-year-old mother did say the pizza was good right before we were showed the door.

These are the best wings on the planet! We never go to Island Park and not get the Ponds Lodge wings!

I loved this restaurant. Our server was honestly so awesome. She made our experience even better by being there. I had the chilli and I was very good. My husband had the fish and chips and he said it was great. The portions are also huge so you will get full.
