Sam's served the best meal we had in Kellog - well - Idaho in general. I had the biscuits and gravy and would highly recommend. If you are looking for a good hearty meal before a day of adventures - this is the place!
The food is really good, cooked well, seasoned well, and gives me the American comfort food taste that I look for when going to a diner. The atmosphere is mildly cluttered, but makes for a lived in vibe, the service is okay, for being a small town diner I was wanting a little more attentiveness to when my drinks were out and checking in on us a little more so I didn't have to ask for more coffee or ketchup, but it was prompt and polite.

We had Chicken Fried Steak, pancakes, gut buster biscuits, and hash browns and those wonderful homemade onion rings.
