I can’t believe that just a quick detour/stop for gas made me accidentally found Beach Bum! BEST quality pastries & food I ever had. Rebekah was extremely friendly, her beautiful store and service, made me feel like at home. Everything was very clean, every detail and every ingredient in her food is the most perfect you could ever taste and find anywhere. Everything was SO fresh and made with love. I wish there were more Beach Bum Bakery’s around the country. If you’re driving and get the opportunity to pass through Kellogg, ID, I highly recommend you to stop at her bakery. It is 100% worth it!!!! 👏🏼🤍 Looking forward to my next visit.

Such a goldmine find! I have driven past Kellogg Idaho tons of times, never again! This is the type of place that after you go you want to tell all your friend and family to visit. (Which we did!) The vibe reminded us both of our mom’s house, playing beach boys music and simple but thoughtful decor. We walked in to find a mom working with her daughter baking delicious treats! Love their slogan Don’t Panic it is Organic! And they should add and it is Damn Delicious! The pastry dough was light and fluffy! The raspberry jam made from her own berries!!! Lemon Snickerdoodle!! We want more! We also enjoyed bagels that were so full of flavor! Last we picked up a loaf of Sour dough bread - it made some of most delicious toast I have eaten! Family run, tons of flavor and heart! My advice stop off I90 you won’t regret it! We sure didn’t and we will be back!

We found The Beach Bum Bakery the same way you probably are now, by Googling “best bakery near me.” I was on a mission for post-birthday cinnamon rolls for a group of kids, and this place delivered in every way.
The first thing that hits you when you walk in is the smell. It’s unreal. The kind that immediately makes your mouth water.
The second thing that stood out was how thoughtfully the place is put together. You can tell the owner put real care into the look and feel, down to the smallest details. That might sound like an aesthetic observation, but in my experience, when someone obsesses over the details of their space, menu, and brand, they’re paying just as much attention to the food and the service. That instinct proved right.
The owner, Rebekah, and her daughter were working when I came in, and both were genuinely wonderful to talk to. I loaded up on cinnamon rolls, scones, protein balls, two coffees, and a loaf of sourdough so beautiful I was almost reluctant to cut into it. Almost.
I took everything back to the kids and cousins, and it was the quietest they’d been all weekend, aside from the occasional “mmm” that only happens when kids are genuinely happy with what they’re eating.
I enjoyed the food and the conversation so much that I brought my wife and kids back later for road snacks before we left town.
I wish I had thought of pictures before everyone dived in, trust me, everything looks and tastes amazing.
This place is special and absolutely worth the stop. If you’re in town, don’t miss it.

I just stopped in here to check it out this morning. And to say I was very pleased is an understatement. Just sitting down in this bakery made me smile. The vibes are very friendly and cozy. The people are wonderful and they made time to make conversation with me. I ordered two of The Alexis sandwiches, and don’t ever skip on the Schug because that was to die for. So very yummy! Probably make this my weekly spot.

This place was amazing. We caught it at opening surprising them with our extended family of 18. Staff were so accommodating, the food was amazing. Apple fritter was spot on, waffle was so good and the unsung hero was the everything which was probably the best bagel I’ve ever had. These folks know what they are doing. Will be back!
