Having frequented these greens for years, we are absolutely delighted by the remarkable transformations underway! It's evident that the new ownership possesses a genuine dedication to Bigwood, as reflected in the exquisite condition of the greens, the meticulously maintained tee boxes, and the truly picturesque fairways.
Bigwood Golf Course in Ketchum, Idaho, is a beautifully maintained 9-hole course that shines with its scenic charm. The greens are smooth and consistent, fairways are lush, and bunkers are well-kept with quality sand. The renovated driving range and picturesque putting green add to the appeal. While a 2022 review mentioned minor issues like dead spots on greens and overly long rough, it’s not the case anymore. Would recommend anyone to give this course a round
Great redone course. Grass is very green and greens are pure. Great customer service!!
It’s crazy that this place has 4 stars. The greens were terrible and unkept. They turned on the sprinklers right in the middle of us playing our hole. Would not recommend.

Super fun course in a most beautiful setting but struggling with the grass
Great golf course
Great golf course
I ordered the Rueben sandwich with French fries instead of potato salad. They were out of rye bread and I was charge $5 in addition for substituting the potato salad for French fries. In the end the Reuben sandwich was $20.
No putting green and no driving range. The course greens are in really bad shape. Not worth the price.

Until this property is sold or refinanced, don’t bother. Have been coming here for 20 years and have NEVER seen it in such poor condition. Greens are horrible. No range or putting green. Not recommended.
Didn't even have a chance to golf there. Guy who answered the phone didn't seem interested in helping find a tee time. Once he offered one and I said I needed to call him back to confirm with my group, he just hung up on me. Not impressed.
Excellent sandwiches and breakfast burritos, beautiful wide open and blue and white skies! Beautiful expanses of fresh green!I grandfather-in my appreciation to this course.I must thank my coach and friend Blake (seen here), for helping me go: from a complete novice...(Someone who thought occulus practice could somehow translate to the green! He teases me all the time deservedly so.)...to: after only 5 games, being able to complete a round close to par.Bigwood Golf Club has my heart and fondness for life.
Pretty decent golf course. The only reason for the 2 stars was because of the person who was working front counter where you pay. Dude was a flat out j**** terrible customer service. Waited over 15 minutes while he was on the phone. Came in and flat out screamed at the construction workers to shut up. Was rude to us and the people next to us who reported the same experiences once we were on our golf carts. Totally unnecessary and enough for me to type a review, and I don’t type reviews. Date and time it took place. September 2nd, 2022 at around 3:30pm.
Big Wood is the red headed step child of Sun Valley golf. It’s beat up, has some scars and the greens suck. That being said - golfers/staff here are non pretentious and welcoming. The course is overpriced no doubt but it’s challenging and has character. The cart guy “Carl” is fantastic and really made our day.
