Flatbreads were overcooked, couldn’t bite crust and the garden salad had one tomato and a piece of cumber. Horrible and over priced all the way around.
Very beautiful place
I really enjoyed the Limelight Lounge’s Live Music Series from 5:30-8:30 pm on the patio.
Their happy hour is also great and that includes some food and the most delicious $8 margarita, maybe our fav in town, or second to Village Station’s.
My husband’s employer reserved one of the residences for us and were expecting a smooth check-in process. Instead, we were left waiting for several hours — with our baby girl, who was hungry and tired. We had left all our essentials, including baby supplies and food, at our prior residence, trusting we’d be able to check in within an hour as we were told.
When we asked for access, even just to drop things off, we were refused. The staff said cleaners were still “dealing with dog pee” and would not allow us in — not even briefly.
While we understand the importance of cleanliness, the complete lack of flexibility, compassion, or urgency from the staff was unacceptable — especially for a hotel that claims to be family-friendly and luxury-level. This experience was unprofessional, stressful, and completely avoidable.
Reserved a Master suite and it was incredibly small — barely enough space for two people, a small child and luggage. Especially for the price, it just wasn’t worth it. To make it worse, the view was of an active construction site, which killed any chance of a view.
Knob Hill and Tamarack Lodge offer much larger rooms and a more convenient location. I wish I had just stayed at one of those again. Save your money — this isn’t it.
The Limelight in Ketchum is princess approved! This hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and clean! They were in the process of renovating some rooms when we were there (June 2025). We enjoyed a nice room with a large balcony which connected to an adjoining room for our kids (also with a large balcony). The complimentary breakfast was great with some different options each day. We loved the large patio area with comfortable seating and enjoyed happy hour a few evenings with live music. The hotel is within walking distance to pretty much everything (small town). We rented bikes from the Sturtevants location connected to the hotel and spent time out on the trails and around the Sun Valley loop. They had a bike storage area at the hotel for us to store bikes overnight. We were there the first week of June so everywhere was pretty quiet. I'm sure this place is hopping during ski season. There are several large gathering areas that would be perfect for social activities after a day of skiing. Beautiful view from our room. Very nice hotel. Highly recommend.
Had a great stay at this hotel in mid-June. The amenities were great and wide-ranging, from pool/hot tub to ping pong table to airport shuttle, among others. The location is ideal in the midst of the main action of the town. While it comes at the high price point, I see it as providing enough value to back that up, and this would be particularly valuable to the business traveling crowd.
Had great service throughout our stay, and the staff always came across as professional and friendly.
Our included breakfasts were always top notch, certainly better than any American hotel I've stayed at before. The restaurant also put out some great dishes and drinks later on in the day, which were especially enjoyable on the patio, with live music in the background on certain days.
Trash! Hopefully marriot will buy them out for pennies on the dollar.
Great hotel with only one complaint. A luxury hotel with free breakfast from 8-10 should not be running out of eggs, bacon or sausage, beverages, bread at 8:30 and 9. It happened every day we were there. Either the hotel lacks a competent food planner or the staff is oblivious to the situation in the breakfast area or it’s intentional to avoid or minimize leftovers. That might be expected at a low end chain but should not be the case at such a nice hotel.
We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, clean, and super comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly—special shoutout to Brian and Tony for being so helpful and welcoming. Our little one loved the pool, and the gym was impressively well-equipped. The complimentary breakfast each morning was a great touch—delicious and convenient. Zero issues during our stay. And definitely take advantage of the Audi EV you can borrow—it was a fun bonus! Highly recommend and can't wait to come back.

Rooms and location are excellent but the service is not what I would expect for a hotel like this. Ordered drinks and food two nights back to back and my wife was served cold coffee from the morning because they did not want to take the time to brew a fresh pot. For a Bailey’s and coffee from a hotel like this I expect a fresh brewed pot with whipped crème and chocolate flakes on top. Not a cold glass with a little Bailey’s in it. Also, servers were slow to come to table to refill drinks. We ordered an appetizer and never received plates, utensils, or napkins. Same service two nights in a row with a a pattern for me.
Highly recommend this hotel. Not only did they upgrade our room for my birthday but there was also a thoughtful gift in room. The hotel is clean, amenities great and very good breakfast. Gluten free friendly! The hotel shuttle and kind staff are an added bonus
Throughly impressed with my experience at Limelight. Fantastic room, service and general esthetics. Certainly more than a 3 star as advertised. Lovely views as well
