One of Ketchums oldest and finest restaurants. The Olimpic Bar is a must.
Chez Michelle keeps the atmosphere in the old school.

Definitely a little dated inside but it was easy to snag a table at 7 mid-week, and the food was very good. Nothing groundbreaking but the proteins were cooked perfectly and the potato side was amazing. Saw some comments on service but our host was incredible. Also a special call out for an excellent wine list that was hands-down the best deal in town.

This place is just so special. The food and atmosphere are hard to replicate anywhere else. We sat in the bar and loved looking out over the dining room. Service was top notch. This is a must visit for a trip to Sun Valley.

One of my favorite restaurants in Sun Valley. Have been a customer for years. Dinner tonight was a disappointment. Everything was great except for the veal chop, a special of the night. It was very tough and not worth the price. I remain a loyal customer.

Amazing place and amazing food. We started out with the Mac and cheese, and I had the grilled salmon, so delicious!! Denisa took amazing care of us! Dessert was amazing, we were able to get it without chocolate due to an allergy and Denisa even offered to bring it on the side!!

Good food at a good price. My wife and I felt sorry for the one worker who had to do everything.

Reading and identifying all the USA Ski Team photos from when Michel' s time as Coach to the Stars of the days, and the delicious food and drinks, what a pleasure!⭐

Andy was an amazing, attentive server. Beautiful space. We each had the wild caught salmon. Cooked to perfection. The cous cous was the right consistency. I substituted spinach for the green beans. Not bitter. Would definitely go back. You can definitely tell an establishment with high-caliber employees. Well done!

We had called and made a reservation and were told to come at 8:30pm. We walked in at 8:32pm and the red haired hostess said she would not serve us. She was INCREDIBLY rude. I understand that the holidays are a busy time— they are for everyone. But service is service. You must be kind if you want to be in service.

We had an incredible meal on our last night in Ketchum. Our dinner consisted of oysters, asparagus soup, salads, rack of lamb with chimichurri, fillets, beef carpaccio, and a delicious dessert to celebrate our friends birthday. The two least favorite items as a general consensus of our group was the asparagus soup. It was not flavored enough. And the beef carpaccio was not a hit either. Everything else was amazing, and meat was cooked to perfection.
The waitstaff were lovely and cocktails are killer. My only suggestion would be to update the decor. The interior is so quaint and cozy, but the furniture and carpeting look rundown. could use a refresh. Overall, great experience.

We had high hopes for dining at Michel's Christiania that unfortunately fell flat. Our waitress was one of those that you wonder if you are bothering them by dining at the restaurant and she was repeatedly rude to my daughter, ignoring her while my daughter was trying to order, instead staring directly at me while I continually indicated that my daughter was plenty capable of ordering for herself. This happened multiple times. The food is overpriced for the quality. My mac and cheese, while flavourful enough was so stringy that I had to frequently spin it like spaghetti to get all the cheese and the bites were more cheese than pasta. My daughter's trout was so drenched in butter than it was just wet and my mom's chicken was soft and flavourless. The best part of the meal was the atmosphere (worn, but in a cozy, lived in way) and the desserts. The creme brulee really was great, cold flavourful custard with a crisp top. There are plenty of great restaurants in Ketchum, this one just, unfortunately fell flat in both service and food quality.
Kid-friendliness: It wasn't. The server was rude to my daughter on more than one occasion when my daughter was trying to place her orders.
