Huge inside with plenty of run to sit and relax. There is music in the afternoon. There is a cafeteria style restaurant, expect to pay about $20+ per person. There is also a full bar and two fireplaces. Some of the tables inside have a view of the ski runs. There is plenty of outside seating as well, with a fire pit.

Sun Valley's River Run Day Lodge is the place to be if you want to ski! It's a nice warm place to get ready to ski for the day. Everything you need is there. Coffee, hot chocolate, snacks for breakfast, an excellent lunch offering, a full bar, and if you're lucky, there might even be a live band playing, Yeehaw!

The food and bar is a bit overpriced for what you get. But highly recommend the ski shop there if you need a last minute tune up. There were able to turn my board around in a few hours on a holiday. Much appreciated!!
Love this place! The menu is very good. I only wish they regulated tables availability, as it's very uncomfortable to buy food and walk around the whole lodge in search of a table to dine

The service was exceptional—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. However, while the ambiance and service were top-notch, the food didn’t quite match up to the high prices. It was decent, but for what you pay, I was expecting more. Overall, it’s a great spot for a cozy atmosphere and excellent service, but the food could use some improvement for the price point.

We didn't eat here while we skiied, but the food we saw other families eat looked appetizing. Some of the meals we saw were pizza, hotdogs , and hamburgers. We enjoyed the water drinking station that was available to everyone in the lodge. The lodge is beautiful and very inviting, including the fireplace in the side room off of the main lodge.

Talk about an accommodating resort!! Apparently I showed up on the only weekend this year that was "busy". The guy behind the bar abolsolutely slayed his job! Friendly and kept him composure under the added stress. The pizza was amazing. Clean bathrooms. If you haven't been to Snowbasin or Sun Vally. You just need to see the lodges in person to really believe how beautiful they really are! Well beyond 5* resort.
Vegetarian options: The curry, salads, and potatoes are great!
Parking: It's a bit of a walk to get the the resort (5-8 minutes with gear). The shuttles are always running though!
