Came here on a vacation and the Belgian waffle was excellent. I asked what fruit came with it for the $5 up-charge and they said “cantaloupe, pineapple, berries, and banana” I thought that was odd so I asked if I could just do strawberries and banana, when the bill came we were charged an extra $3 for “extra item” when I asked they said it was for the fruit I chose. So I paid $8 for half a banana and 3 strawberries. Food was yummy but that was odd to me.
I sat outside the Kneadery, which has a lovely shaded patio with eight tables and a working fountain in the middle. Today, September 15, was perfect weather for enjoying it. I ordered the special chicken fried steak, which was huge and flavorful. I also had a cup of fruit I was taking home because it was too much food.
The total was $30.50, including coffee and orange juice.
The service was prompt and excellent. I got coffee right away.

YES! If I ever returned to Ketchem and had to choose one spot to go back to, this is it. Lovely spot, and very pretty front and back patio where we had lunch. I had the Huevos Kneadary (huevos rancheros) which were excellent and a blueberry muffin which was gorgeously warm and fresh. Everything we had for that lunch was fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious!!!
