This is a small place near St Gertrude's Monastery so after the tour we stopped for lunch. We had a nice salad and excellent wings and burger....but you can't review this place without talking about Linda the owner. She is a hoot and provides great service. Don't miss it.

Great little pub. Food is delicious and Linda, the hostess, server, cook and owner is fantastic. She was so pleasant that we came back the next day for dinner, also. Taco Tuesday is the best!.

Linda is sole proprietor and has been chef and wait staff and conversationalist all in one for the last 23 years. Longest business owner in town. Knows all the locals and treats guests like a local. I asked her how she handled big crowds and she said, “look here’s how it works. There’s only one of me and all of you so I need a bartender from each table carrying drinks. The. When food is up, I’ll have you two carry food for me.” Linda is plucky. Used to be a lumberjack. Food is good and consistent but that’s not why you go. You come here to see a slice of history, read about the families of the past with many of their pictures on the wall, and enjoy family and friends while Linda entertains and exchanges with quick wit. Check it out. Beautiful drive. Enjoy!

We had a very good burger here. It was busy and the owner/waitress is wonderful. The place has plenty of seating, small but good menu. It is the best place to sit with the locals and just have a great lunch.
