Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. I felt robbed. We ordered the Colossal Shrimp which was supposed to be as the name implies, Colossal except they were small regular sized shrimp breaded and over fried for $26. The picture of menu they have online shows $17… but that was not the case. They must have raised the price since. What I received was worth $12. It was not good. Service was mediocre. Waitress didn’t stop to ask how the food was or asked me if I needed a container.

Okay so traveling through I was very hungry and followed the signs to this place. Sign on window said open, hours listed on door said it was open, I tried the handle and it was locked went to the back and got a pic but for surely I'd not stop or take the extra effort to go here as it was nothing but a disappointment to a hungry traveler.

The service is fast and friendly, the food is incredible and well priced. Definitely family friendly. I highly recommend…and that isn’t praise I give out easily!
Hilltop is a lot like some comfy old jeans. You don't need them to look too flashy, small holes and no obvious stains will be just fine. That's Hilltop, seats were worn and comfy. You could probably puff a few drags on a cigarette without anyone protesting. Waitress came right up and was friendly but not intrusive and drinks were delivered promptly like they gave a rip about service. I had the chicken fried steak and I loved every bite. Pulled off the highway for something hopefully homemade-ish and I was so happy. I'll definitely be back. Thanks Hilltop!

Wonderful little place!Great menu selection, not overwhelming with options, but a flavor for everybody!Our appetizer was the fried mushrooms and zucchini, which was a great option. However, some of the zucchini peices were stuck together, so when pulled apart, the uncooked breading did make them unappetizing. We didn't mind as we assume that could be a packaging issue, not the restaurant.I had a steak with the baked potato, and my wife chose the teriyaki chicken breast with fries, weird I know. I asked for a medium rare, and it was a little on the rare side, but absolutely delicious, no doubt! Perfectly cooked baked potato with all the goodies. Chicken was perfect, and the teriyaki glazing was delectable as well, but the wife says a little less on the glaze next time and it's a 10/10.With a great bar to wash that great meal down, this is a full service location we will definitely be coming back to!
