This place is awesome! We spent a weekend enjoying the rivers in the area and ate here two nights in a row. The food is simple, home cooked and delicious. Portions ensure nobody leaves hungry. But the Apple Pie, Oh My Gosh, it's incredible. Too many restaurants try and do to much and the Kooskia Cafe just serves good food at good prices. The community is incredibly friendly and I couldn't recommend stopping here for a meal more. Wish there were more restaurants like this in the world.

Really impressed with the quality of service and food! Our server, Amber, was very friendly and so pleasant. There appeared to be an owner who came out on the floor and talked with people and was genuinely asking customers how they liked their food. Overall great place! 👍

Zero customer service. We walked in and they were not busy, as there was only one table that was occupied. The server, Katrina, had already taken their order as we were sitting. She saw us walk in and sit down, just two booths away from the table she was helping. We made eye contact with both her and the other female working closer to the kitchen. Not once were we acknowledged. She went back to the same table two different times to confirm their order and still failed to greet us. After 5-10 minutes of sitting, another couple walked in and sat in the booth that was between us and the other party. The server walked right over to their table with menus and introduced herself. She then turned around and went back to the kitchen. After realizing she wasn't going to help us, we got up and walked out. My suggestion is for the manager to look into customer service training. I would have been understanding if the restaurant was busy, however, it wasn't and the lack of acknowledgement that we were even sitting there is inexcusable.

Stopped in on a Saturday for dinner. Asked for homemade pie, they had none. Asked for a strawberry shake, none available. Settled for a hot open face turkey sandwich with mashed and gravy. They did have it. I wish they hadn't. It was like licking a salt block. Everything was covered with the gravy and so everything was inedible. Better food down the road. 2nd visit, silly me.

We just had lunch there with my grandchildren and my cousin, and they travel from Washington and we were from Nampa, Idaho and that was the best food we have ever eaten and the best service anytime we’ve ever been up here. Thank you so much Kooskia cafe your waitress was the best poor thing she had to wait on so many people at one time she didn’t even take a moment to breathe and she got every bit of our order is perfect. Thumbs up.🤙❤️❤️
