Well I work here its awesome
We had dinner every night we stayed at the lodge and were NEVER disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious. For a small resort in the middle of nowhere, they did an amazing job. Definately worth a stop if you are traveling through! Jodi is amazing, super helpful and a wealth of knowledge!
My wife and I had been wanting to do this for a long time and when COVID hit we thought this could not be any better of a socially distanced vacation. The lodge did a fantastic job of keeping everything clean and safe during your stay. This was the first trip we had been on that we had extremely limited access to internet service and communication to the outside world. It was fantastic. The trip allows you to get back to nature and experience all of the natural beauty we have around us. The lodge and amenities were great but what truly made the resort shine was the amazing staff. Jodi and Chris are a priceless asset to the River Dance Lodge. They made us feel like we were right at home and Chris did a fantastic job on both of your adventures.
A great place as we’ve been there three times!! Wonderful, comfy cabins with just the right amenities for all you need for your stay. Beautiful place nestled along the river. You will be welcomed by Jodi, the manager, friendly and professional. The cafe has delicious Idaho cuisine and wonderful huckleberry pie! Great place to get away!!
Autumn
We stopped at the Syringa Cafe while on a road trip in Idaho and Montana. Not only is it a beautiful spot but the food was wonderful and they had huckleberry ice cream. It is great.
Friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable staff. Lunch on the river was made by hand, and our guides made a point to know everyone's name. I had a great time. Even saw a blue-tailed skink.
Nice owner. Good food. Not many other options out here.
Whether you’re driving by or staying in the cabins, you got to stop and eat! Great food! Jodi is amazing! Our favorite would be the homemade huckleberry pie.
Had the Idaho nachos and a slice of pie, both were amazing. Highly recommended.
Excellent food, great portions, and Huckleberry pie
Clean place
Just wonderful! Wholesome good home cooking right on the edge of the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness.
We bumped into this place after paddling the Lochsa and Selway Rivers. We com from a big City with lots of amazing restaurants, so we did not have high expectations. We were so surprised at how amazing the food was. I ordered the Portobello stuffed mushroom which was to die for. The soup of the day was beef barley and it was the best beef barely I'd ever had. I usually don't eat desert, but I decided with food this good I would try their huckleberry pie and ice cream. I'm glad I did. The waitress was lovely. She is in training to be a raft guide. I would love to stay in their cabins some time.
Superb place as always.
