While the food is excellent there I do have to recommend calculating your own tip. You can see that my 20% isn't the same as their 20% even when both calculated after tax. All I can say is that sushi rolls aren't the only fishy item at rice works.

We live in Meridian - saw that they had a happy hour special and thought we would give them a try?
So glad we made the 30 min trip to Kuna. Sushi was fresh and fantastic and the waitstaff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again.

Riceworks was recommended by a friend as the best steak around. We were skeptical but it was proven. We had the filet mignon and a giant rib steak. Mouth watering amazing steaks. The sides were also very yummy. Hands down great spot for a steak OR Asian cuisine.

I enjoyed the rib eye steak (well done) and my wife enjoyed her chicken teriyaki. Both meals were very satisfying and filling. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and it's a nice friendly place and we will be back.

An unforgettable dining experience that beautifully blends impeccable service, refined atmosphere, and culinary excellence. The steak is without question among the finest in the Treasure Valley—perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor—while the diverse sushi selection offers an unexpected yet delightful complement. Every detail, from presentation to hospitality, reflects a true commitment to quality. I eagerly anticipate returning soon to further explore the menu and savor even more of what this remarkable restaurant has to offer.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review already. Everytime we come in, we have an excellent experience. The food, drinks and service never disappoint. So glad to have this spot in Kuna!

Food was excellent, just learned that happy hour starts again from 8:00 to 9:00. I always had to rush after work to get there before happy hour ending at 6:00. Now I can go after 8:00 and get 50% off the second roll.

Food quality and taste and value was no where near what we expected. Sushi was flavorless, fried rice combo was not good. The filet Mongolian beef was too sweet and no heat even with the 4 spice level. Poke bowl had very little flavor and was extremely dry. The Pad Thai again not very good very little flavor. Our server on the other hand was very good and attentive. Sushi rolls came out quickly but waited about 35 minutes for entrees. Wanted to like it after reading reviews, but unfortunately won't be back.

Great atmosphere, our server was very attentive and made sure our drinks will full. The chef came out and asked how everything was. The food itself was perfect and the portions matched the cost. I will definitely come back

My wife and I dine at Riceworks weekly. Our friends from Arizona were in town this weekend so of course we had them join us for dinner. They loved the Sushi and Mahi-mahi!

Dinner at RiceWorks Sushi & Asian Street Food was delicious! We enjoyed perfectly prepared Filets with a delicious side of carrots and cheesy artichoke hearts! The food was truly top notch as well as the service! 5 🌟 from us!

Just tried again and no to go orders again lol. Bad place to order from. I don't think your worth my business.

I've been to this Rice Works a handful of times and my husband multiple times (he absolutely loves it).
I would say my experience has always been satisfying. I went in last night with my mother in law and we came at the same time as a whole wave of people. I was very impressed with the hostess (didn't catch her name) as I watched her take a long and complicated to-go order, seat a steady stream of people, and even bus some tables.
We were sat quickly even though we didn't have a reservation. It was a little slow getting our drinks as I saw them sitting up at the bar for a bit- there was even a table near us that seemed extra cranky the drinks weren't getting out fast enough. But on a busy night, I feel like that's to be expected.
As far as the food goes they have a great variety, the chicken lettuce wraps are delicious and we decided to try the new steak options. The filet was very tender and a good flavor, however I did mention to the gentleman that brought it out that the kitchen may want to revisit how salty the dishes are. In my opinion full of flavor is good but sodium can always be added if it isn't salty of enough. He was very receptive and said he would mention it which I think is very important in continuing to improve as an establishment. I have yet to try the sushi but I'm excited to- especially for happy hour.
Also, I was very pleased that their well vodka is Titos and its a great price point, even without happy hour discounts.
I'm sure I'll be back soon- especially with my husband.
