I grew up in San Diego enjoying the variety of Mexican restaurants where the food flavor is much better than what I've sampled in other states. El Socio had quality and flavor In accustomed to. I ate from their stand at the Lewiston Fair. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get to their place of business and an sorry to see they are closed. I hope they return soon.

Traveling on business, found this place on my way out of town. Reviews were good, so I ventured in. I was not disappointed! I chose the Carne Asada Street Tacos, and they were excellent!Very flavorful steak, and the tortillas were clean ans dry, as opposed to greasy or soggy which is what I get at a lot of other Mexican restaurants. Great service, but limited decor and atmosphere. I recommend this place for authentic Mexican fare in Lewiston, ID. ?✌

Stopped here on my way out of town. I saw great reviews on Yelp, and they were not wrong! I had the Carne Asada Street Tacos, and they were AWESOME! Smaller portions than typical Mexican fare, but the steak was very good and seasoned perfectly. Highly recommend this spot for authentic Mexican cuisine in Lewiston!

All around excellent. Opened the place up and turned the lights on just for me. Didn't expect that. Got my food quickly. Chips, salsa and house hot sauces were gratis. Torta Carne Asada was one of the top 50 best things I've eaten. Taco plate was superb. Complete with sour cream and guac. Highly recommend to go out of your way to come here.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! We have been too a few Mexican restaurants in Lewiston and Clarkston and nothing compares to El Socio. They have the best Menudo, Pazole and steak tacos. The dining area is well kept and the waitress is super nice. I highly recommend this place!!!
