Groundwork Brewing is easily one of the best additions to the Lewiston beer scene. It strikes that perfect balance between creative brewing and genuine community spirit — the kind of place that makes you want to stay for “just one more” because everything about it feels right.

The beer lineup is excellent. Every pour feels intentional — clean, flavorful, and well-balanced. The IPAs have great hop character without being overpowering, the stouts are smooth and full-bodied, and the seasonal releases show real creativity from the brew team. You can tell they care deeply about quality and consistency. The tasting flight was a great way to explore the variety, and not one beer missed the mark.

Service here is top-notch. The bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they serve — quick to offer recommendations and happy to chat about the brewing process. It’s the kind of genuine enthusiasm that makes the experience personal and memorable.

The space itself is clean, comfortable, and modern, with plenty of seating and a relaxed social vibe. Whether you’re meeting friends, catching a game, or just winding down after work, it’s an easy place to feel at home.

Always a pleasure to visit, friendly staff. Very attentive. Selection was wonderful. Pretzels with beer cheese and their fresh chips were both perfect.

From two pizza connoisseurs, this is excellent pizza! Good beer selection. Live music is great when they play. Nice atmosphere. Probably the best pizza in the area. You’d be a fool to miss out.

Every time, and I do mean EVERY TIME, we go to GroundWork Brewing, it alway is the best - best pizzas, and BEST BEERS. You feel like family, and they listen to your ideas, and sometimes they show up. We just got back on a 105 degree evening, the cool inside was great, beer was better, and the pizza fantastic.. Can it get any better in Lewiston, I don't think so.

Recently hosted a baby shower there and staff was amazing communicated well we had microphone access great radio station and was kept informed the whole time staff was very friendly and considerate they even showed up early to allow sooner access even though I was late I can not recommend enough to host your next gathering there! 10/10?

We’re from out of town and stopped in after a day of playing with the kids! We tried to not to get a bite as we were off to family dinner, but we cracked and snagged an order of cheesy bread, absolutely amazing btw! After a couple beers and a snack we were about to head out when to our surprise, we were told our tab was covered by a “favorite local” Thanks again for the beer, breadsticks and the great service! We’ll definitely be coming back to return the favor🍻

We were there for Trivia night so the crowd was a lot bigger than usual and the staff were overwhelmed. They worked extremely hard to get to everyone but the modest kitchen could not keep up and food was more then an hour wait... If you got some of their Woodfired pizza or as delicious but that little oven was not up to the capacity crowd. Great selection of beer... hard working and friendly staff, even under such stress

Great little brewery. First off, their service is awesome! They have a very friendly and attentive staff, even on a very busy night. A group of us from my office went for their bingo game night and had an absolute blast! Plenty of good selection for drinks and food, as far as breweries go.I would definitely come here again. The game nights are especially fun.

One of my favorite local places to have a beer and relax. Smaller area inside or more seating outside. It's both vibrant and chill at the same time. Beers have been getting steadily better and there's always guest taps or stuff in the cooler.
