I always make a point to stop by Mandarin Pine when I’m in Lewiston for work, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and served hot every time I’ve visited. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in the quality of their dishes.
The service is just as impressive. My server, Tea, has been wonderful—friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. She made sure everything was perfect and created a great dining experience.
Overall, Mandarin Pine is a fantastic restaurant with great food and outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone in the Lewiston area looking for a delicious meal and a welcoming atmosphere. Five stars!

We’ve been coming to The Mandarin Pine for about five years. Most Asian restaurants feel like most Mexican restaurants—same old, same old. TMP is the same in what it offers, but it clearly stands above the rest in the region.

The food is very good, service is excellent, and takeout orders are a beast—probably two to one most nights, which can slow things down. Todd is a magician at the front. He remembers every seat, every order, everyone’s allergies, and when you change it up, he still gets it right—no notes needed. The service alone deserves six stars.

You won’t find anything truly crave-worthy on the menu, but if you want dependable, fast, and reliably delicious Asian food, this is the place to go.

How I rate Restaurants
★ Skip it. Not worth the napkin.
★★ Only if desperate. Starving, lost, or snowing sideways.
★★★ Forgettable. Nothing to see here, move along folks
★★★★ Worth returning. Solid, dependable, no regrets.
★★★★★ The reason you go. Crave-worthy, intentional, makes you pause—how did they make that?

Smokey in the restaurant had a hard time no coughing. I believe it was due to an appetizer

We were happy to find a local Chinese restaurant that had good food and great service! The egg flower soup was excellent, and my almond chicken was tender and delicious. The sweet and sour pork was a little heavy on the breading, but still yummy! We will be back!

Great selection of wines by the glass, and the sommelier was very helpful and down-to-earth.!!!!!!!!

We stopped in for dinner without a reservation but were seated within 15 minutes during a busy time. The food was delicious with large portions and it arrived quickly. I didn’t catch the name of the waiter but he was amazing. He seemed to be managing about half of the restaurant with several very large groups and yet our water never ran out. He was pleasant and helpful. All around it was a great experience.
