Friday night, seafood night! Halibut was excellent and loved the zucchini with puttanesca sauce! But the star of the show tonight was the local squash blossom's stuffed with herbed goat cheese and romesco sauce! Service was excellent as usual (nod to Chris!) and the Dunham chardonnay brought it all together! Rupert's is the best hands down!

I always required my staff to dress professionally and attractively. They were not that. They will never be 5 star until they deal w work uniforms

We always have a lovely dinner and relaxing evening at Rupert's. The wait staff are pleasant and accommodating. The view of the lake is very calming and the food was flavorful. We look forward to a return trip.

Very disappointed. Took wait staff 20 minutes to come by the table, even tho 3 different servers passed by our table with no acknowledgment what so ever. We had reservations at 7pm on a Thursday night specifically for the Thai specials. Nope. They ran out. At 7pm??! Plan better. Menu is very limited for pescatarians so we ordered the salmon. Asked to have it Med well. Because no one wants under cooked fish. Nope. They served it under cooked and mushy. They took it back and threw the same piece (small for the price) back on the heat. Very underwhelming as far as taste goes. Two stars because the location is great and our waitress tried very hard to please, even tho everything seemed to go wrong. Won't be back.

This was our first dining experience at Rupert's and we would definitely return. The views of Payette lake are fabulous from every table in the restaurant. My husband ordered the elk meatloaf and I had the salmon entree. Both meals were delicious. The service was good, albeit a bit slow. Overall this was a very good dining experience.

Great food as always, especially the clam appetizers. good view of the lake sitting outside. Chris their sommelier knows his wines, always pleasant to talk with him. It is our place to go when we are in McCall.

Wonderful dinner lakeside in McCall. Our first time visiting the area and we loved the unique menu! We tired the Yak Momas and the Elk Meatloaf along with the Halibut special.. all were exceptional. The special birthday dessert was fun and the huckleberry gelato was amazing!

Fantastic service - friendly attentive server, superb drinks. Himalayan momo appetizer was essentially hard packed yak meat with very little flavor. Accompanying tomato chutney was very good but couldn't quite make up for hard flavorless momo filling. Elk meatloaf was flavorful but barely room temp - clearly rewarmed but not quite enough! Steak with gratin potatoes was very good - perfect char and done to perfection. Overall great atmosphere, service and drinks. Food quality not so much.
