My husband and I came here after our spa treatment at the Cove and the service wasn’t that great. My food was spicy even though I asked for it not to be and we always had to flag someone down if we needed something; we were never checked on and they forgot things when we got our food. I’m not planning on going back, but the fries were good.

I have an egg allergy, and the staff were very welcoming and accomodating, especially our waiter Ryan. The wagyu burger I had was delicious, and my partner ordered the bacon wrapped asparagus to share. Unfortunately it turned out to have an egg sauce, but the chef made some extra with no egg as a 'gift', free of charge! I felt so accomodated, it was a very nice dining experience.

I love the view, food and staff was friendly Enjoy going there for breakfast and we'll go back for sure!
I'm a vegetarian. This restaurant has an excellent vegetarian sandwich on the lunch menu. There were no vegetarian entree options, so I asked if they could make the sandwich and the chef said no. The 3 other members of my party said the food was ok. Setting and ambiance were amazing.
Great environment with super views. Service was excellent and food was great. Would definitely dine there again.
Pretty disappointed with the BLT. Paid $19 for one slice of bacon on an un-toasted slice of “sourdough.” They also put my receipt inside the to-go box, which covered my food. I usually love it here, but this was beyond.

Food is mediocre, but it’s all about the location. You’re paying for the view. The place was empty on a Thursday at 3pm, but the host was snippy that we didn’t have a reservation. Club sandwich was bland - with packaged sliced turkey; Cobb salad was excellent.

Beautiful setting with great drinks and food! Our server was kind and helpful. One of the bartenders seemed like she was angry and taking it out on her coworkers. That aside, the cutwater is a fantastic place to have a drink and some food while you enjoy the stunning view. The bang bang cauliflower didn't disappoint!

We were reluctant to dine here based off reviews. Don’t listen to the reviews. This place is amazing. The service is amazing and the food is incredible. Sean was our waiter and I’ve never met a more competent service person. He recommended bacon wrapped asparagus and they were insanely delicious.

Anniversary dinner, new York strip was awesome. Can't beat sitting on the patio with the Payette Lake as your view. It has been our yearly place to celebrate for most of our 25 years.
Every time we go, we have a great time and amazing food. The patio seating has great views so you can watch boats and other things on the water.

Obviously one of the nicer places to dine in McCall, by a lot. We dined in the hotel steak house a few days ago and it was amazing. Completely different experience at Cutwater. The hostess/ gal that sat us was super unpleasant - seemed bothered with dealing with guests in general. Our server was attentive at first, but seemed to get overwhelmed with the dinner rush. We went ignored for 30+ min. My husband's halibut was completely dry and by the time we could get someone to the table, we just wanted to leave. We tried going to the bar and eventually going to the hotel concierge who was able to make several phone calls to get someone to deliver the check. View was great, but wait staff seemed super bothered to take care of guests. No smiles, terrible service and so so food. Last thing- we valeted 2x on 2 visits and had the same guy. He couldn't be bothered to get out from behind the valet stand and open the car door for the arriving guests. I've never seen this. If this is hotel policy, consider upping your game to match the rest of the valet service providers around the country.
