We sat for a while before anyone waited on us in this very small restaurant. Lots of people working just nobody paying attention. Late reservation so it was not busy or full. Waiter finally showed up, apologizing and saying there was a miscommunication. He was very attentive after that and offered a glass of wine or dessert to make up for the initial issue. Lobster bisque was very good and hot. I had short ribs which were very rich with pasta that had too much sauce for such a rich dish. My husband had the steak and said it was ok and tender. I'd give this restaurant another try if I came back to town. Could have just been an off night. Restaurant was in a nice hotel on the lake. The bar was happening and had a nice bar menu. There was also a less formal restaurant down stairs and outside that was quite busy.
We ate here for our anniversary and we had an excellent meal from beginning to end. We love the surf and turf and the crème brûlée.
Our favorite restaurant in McCall, it provides a unique dining experience with specials that highlight the unique expertise of a fabulous chef. We only wish we could share this restaurant with our friends in Bend, Oregon.
One of our fav spots for dinner in McCall. Make sure to get a table prior to Sunset and you will get the best views of the lake from the dining room.

We called in to make a reservation and put down a deposit for a reservation at the narrows and the restaurant switched our reservation to the downstairs restaurant, the greeter who explained it to us was extremely rude and snatchy. Unapologetic service, and the food at the other restaurant was very mediocre. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a fine dining experience. Overall unprofessional.

Disappointed. Checked in at 5 for a 5:15 reservation. Told staff that we were in bar area and asked to be notified when table was available. Was also told that we had a window table. Waited in bar until 5:25; no one told us table was ready. When we went to front desk we were seated at middle table. We had informed them when we made reserations that it was our anniversary so we were disappointed with initial impressions. Waiter was courteous but not engaging. Food was good but not special for the price ($200+ w/o tip)

We had the absolute best New York steaks! The French onion soup was the best I ever had. Everyone was very impressed. It is pricy so be prepared.
Nice meal, steak was cooked well. Wine selection of by the glass was big enough. View was good despite getting a table away from the windows. French onion was really sweet but still held it's own.
Great restaurant in downtown McCall. Definitely worth a visit anytime you are in McCall. A true steak lovers delight!
The food and service was top notch. Creative, delicious and presented with elegance. Wine selection was amazing.

Had a great experience at the Narrows. Service, food and location were all top notch! It's a bit pricy but don't mind paying if the service and food is outstanding. Will defiantly will be back!
Big kuddos to the server, Grace. She was very accommodating and made our first experience at The Narrows amazing. The food was impeccable. Very impressive plating and flavor. Overall our experience was great. Highly recommend.
Wonderful restaurant with a great view of the lake. Somewhat expansive but ideal for a special occasion.
We celebrated our 46th Wedding Anniversary last night at “The Narrows Steakhouse”. Roman was our server and he took excellent care of us in a timely way & without making us feel hurried. Thank you Roman for making us feel special as we Celebrated another God given Anniversary, Glen & Linda Cain
Everything at this restaurant exceeded our expectations. We were initially hesitant to book a reservation due to the 4-star average, but we’re glad we did. We ordered the A5 ribeye and a daily A5 surf and turf special with scallops and were blown away by both the quality of the food and the chef’s expert preparation.
The cocktails paired perfectly with our appetizer and entrée. Service was phenomenal, with Roman as our primary host. He ensured we were never left waiting, all while remaining transparent and unobtrusive in the background.
We’ve dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants, and this experience was equally memorable.
