Very good authentic Mexican food. While we were staying in Montpelier for a little over a month while working, we ate here several times. The food was awesome. The service was good and staff was friendly. It was a little dirty with food and straw wrappers on the floor but the tables were clean. To access the restroom you have to go outside and around the back of the building to get in.

The food is excellent! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is a little dated, but the restaurant is clean and welcoming.

I'm very disappointed. 6:30 at night, and they were out of rice and shrimp. Half the dishes were not available. The service was awful after asking multiple times for drinks

Quick service, really well cooked and flavourful meals, and reasonable prices. The carne asada is razor thin and pretty crispy. The fried ice cream seemed to be fried in churro dough - insanely good. And the horchata was the most authentic I've had in years.

Refried beans looked so bland I couldn't make myself try them. My son's meal looked really good but mine was blah

I enjoyed the shredded beef chimi. They provide salsa & refried beans with the complimentary chips. I've been here several times now, and it seems that they do not bring you your bill, you'll have to head up to the front counter to pay.

My favorite mexican restaurant is Lafrontera off of Fort Union. For a small town restaurant, the food was good

The portion size was very good and the salsa and bean dip excellent, although salsa was weak on spice, very mild. The quality of the food was good, however I thought the meal lacked lacked flavor and spice. I don't mean hot, I mean flavor. Atmosphere was good and staff was attentive but no personality. But that's okay, it was good enough.

It's not a fancy spot, but the staff is friendly and the service is quick. The atmosphere can be described as "hectic". The burrito was passable but overall pretty bland. Prices are low so I can't complain too much. Overall a serviceable place to stop for a quick bite.
Parking: Not a big lot.

The atmosphere was good..... BUT......... We ordered and watched 4 other tables get their food and finish said food while we sat waiting. Never got our food, never got refills on drinks, was never even checked on again. There were only 4 of us! Yep, won't be returning. Yes we did leave after waiting an hour.
We're a business and we had a lunch meeting for 12 people. I arrived there at 11:40 am, needing the lunch by noon. I looked at the menu and ordered. They took the order and had it completed by 12:05 pm. They were great to work with - excellent customer service. People who ate the lunch said it was great. I appreciate restaurants who can accommodate in a crunch. I recommend.
