We've been there several times since moving here, and the food is mediocre! The server is usually rude and always huffs when asked for something. She loves to slide stuff across the table. If there were other options, we'd never go there again! Sadly, there's only this spanish type restaurant here!

As a first time guest here, I must say the atmosphere feels awesome, I mean everyone there is just to enjoy food and have a good time. The service was one of the best I've had in my life, and the food has far exceeded my expectation!! Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Been going here for years and spent a lot of money here. Used to be good, but then the prices starting going up and the portions got smaller. My wife ordered a burrito and asked for sour cream and no tomatoes. The server through a fit, and said we never said that and stormed off. She didn’t take it back. Won’t eat here again.

Chips, cold unsalted Beans served with chips, cold Salsa, watered down pico Had water, no refill Had to ask for silverware, while waitress was walking away after she dropped off food Rice tasted like burnt or too much paprika was added, I couldn’t figure it out Carnitas we’re dry and flavorless, had too many onions as filler Plates and bowls were plastic, doesn’t help keep food warm, food became cold quickly

A week ago I ordered steak and chicken fajitas. There was so much food. The meat and beans had a wonderful flavor. I decided to return tonight and order the fajitas again because they were so delicious. Tonight my experience was totally different. Our cashier dropped our food. I didn't check the bag until I got home. The box with the food was smashed and broken. Most of the beans and guacamole leaked out of the broken box and made a mess in the bag. There was one bite of beans left in the serving box. What caused me the most disappointment was the meat. It was served with about 1 1/2 cups of cooked peppers and onions. There were three bites of steak and two bites of chicken. The meat tasted good but there was probably at the most 2 oz. of meat total. I was very disappointed and still hungry. I don't understand why there wasn't more meat, especially when the total cost of my meal was $18.00. If I had ordered two tacos at Taco Bell, I would have had more meat. Combo Fajitas

Wow, some of the best Mexican food anywhere! A great score in this small town. The carne asada plate was perfect. Very fair pricing too.

I have always loved El Jaliciense. They always have great food, great service, and great prices. They are probably my all-time favorite place for Mexican food, so I’m proud to have them in our small community!

There aren't many Mexican places I've been that come close to this place. Seriously some of the best food I've ever had. This is a MUST for anyone eating in South East Idaho.

Cute Mexican restaurant. We asked some of the locals where a good restaurant was that they would eat at and this restaurant was mentioned by several. We ordered tostadas and enchiladas and they were delicious. I also thought that their salsa and chips were very good. Most Mexican restaurants just serve you salsa. This one also served some refried beans and salsa with their chips. I noticed that several people that came also ordered hamburgers, so there is more than just Mexican food there to choose from. I will stop here again on my next trip.
