Pay attention to the overall rating; it's that low for a reason. I get that this is a small town and so maybe the attitude is "If you don't like it go elsewhere." Maybe; not sure. And my review is from a single visit, but I worked fast food for several years in my youth so that is my context.
I ordered a #6 combo. The burger had clearly been made a while ago; it was not freshly made. Or, if it was, it was poorly made and tasted as if it had been sitting. I went to get my A&W Root Beer -- and it was spewing soda; it needed to be changed out. Ok, that happens. I went to get ketchup for my fries -- there wasn't any so I had to ask them to fill it. When she filled it, she didn't tell me, she just lifted the now-filled ketchup bin, looked at me and raised her eyebrows. After the gal changed the root beer tank no one came to tell me it was ready. I sat there and watched them for a little while but nothing. So, I went and asked if it was ready and she said it was. If I had treated my customers anything like this, Mr. Mudge would have fired me on the spot.
They had a sign saying "We are extremely short staffed today! Your patience is very much appreciated!!" There were no other front orders happening when I was there (I didn't know how many might have been in the drive-up). Still, I was patient but none of this behavior is excused by being "short handed".
